The surrounding countryside is perfect for hiking, relaxing and discovering new things... with vineyards and champagne cellar visits to boot.

The Gîte de l'Ourcq is a large house with 4 bedrooms that can accommodate up to 10 people. With its large living room, spacious grounds and games room, it's ideal for holidays with friends or family.

Pleasant, Spacious, Modern & Clean House in Quiet Village Away From The City

We were more than delighted with this accommodation. It has a modern, easy clean interior with quality furnishings, seating for 10 both indoor and out, pingpong table, large enclosed outdoor areas and space on driveway for a few cars. We stayed here for 10 days in August 20 with our 5 children. Hubert is a pleasant and very accommodating gentleman who stayed up until 2am to welcome us after an unexpected delay on the motorway and kindly adjusted our dates at the last minute notice to postpone our stay by 1 day at no extra charge. The communication via google translate was perfect (we both couldn't talk the other language). The beds were very comfortable, the storage space and kitchen utensils were perfect as was the HIFI etc. Hubert has thought of all the detail which made our stay so pleasant. We visited mostly outdoor places (covid) local (furthest 45mins by car) historic towns and castles , lakes with bathing area, forests, canal country walks, something different each day. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for spcae to unwind.

Great house

Great house, we had a great stay. The house is very large, with comfortable bedrooms with good beds. The direct area is very quiet. We've been to Parc Asterix, to Paris (car to Château-Thierry and train direct to Paris Est 55 min), the beautifull city of Reims (free parking at René Tys, next to parc Léo Lagrange. In the parc there's a playground, a skate park and pump track). Château-Thierry is a beautiful place to walk around. When you walk to the top of the Château there's a playarea for kids, with nets high in the treas. It's 3 euro, the kids loved it.

Logement spacieux, lumineux, pratique et très bien équipé. Déconnexion assurée !!!! Nous avons pu fêter l'anniversaire de mon mari entre amis 🎉🥳 Le propriétaire est très sympathique, sait se faire discret tout en restant joignable pour répondre aux éventuels besoins.
