Stayed three nights end of July, pleased to find I'd been upgraded on arrival to a nice big bed. Quiet room as requested, free parking and wifi and the breakfast is superb. Staff courteous and helpful. Middle of town. In BW terms the price is fair. Two minor downsides (1) they close reception early at times and you need to use their electronic card twice to get in and (2) no evening dining, they recommend "Annexet Restaurant" next door, which I found fine one night but rotten service another night. Not strictly relevant but Skive undersells its harbour and the island of Fur nearby
Even though the hotel is in an old building, the renovation job has been done to great satisfaction. We had a New superior room, as we are a family of 5, and it was perfect. Will definitly reccomend this hotel. In the middle of centre, free parking, cosy Danish breakfast and great Hospitality. As we have family in Skive, but due to lack of Space we choose to use hotels. This was the first time at Skivehus, but we will absolutely come back.
|All will be happy to stay in this hotel, all can affort it, breakfast is very very good, very nice and polite staff all over a pleasant hotel nicely palce down by the town river with a good wiev out.
Nothing really to complain or praise about. Its well located but sleeping on the roadside means you'll hear all the cars running about if you leave you window open (also theres 2 gas stations near the hotel). The room was nice and clean and there's everything you need. Next door is a nice steakhouse and then McD's. Thes only one small and slow elevator. The staffs were not friendly but not rude either, said good morning to an older lady at the reception and she said good morning back while still looking at her computer without a smile. Thats all I can remember about this hotel. But do visit the steakhouse next door, the waitress gave plenty of smiles and good service!
The checkin was fast and smooth Rooms were good and clean and there was free coffe and internet They provided a bus to the concert and return to the hotel Breakfast had a lot of selections but refillings when a type of food ran out was not good
A smallish simple hotel in a smallish simple Danish town. Nothing grand but clean and well located. It has nothing really to fault about it but it is not exiting either. They write that it has been recently refurbished but the room I stayed in was not anything special and did not 'feel' refurbished. The lift works but it is quite old and dated. The hotel has no extra facilities besides for the bedrooms and a breakfast room. Staff are friendly and accommodating but I cannot say that anyone goes out of their way to help. I struggle a little with my mobility but nobody offered to help with my bags not when I came or when I left in spite of having half a dozen steps in the front. Front desk is not manned after midnight.
I stayed for one night in the hotel. The room was ok and comfortable. Breakfast was good. The hotel is very close to the centre of the town. Next to the hotel is restaurant which is mainly a steak house. The food here is good.
This is a good place to stay in Skive. Freindly staff, good breakfast. No problems with parking. Internet very good. We were there over a long holiday weekend and unfortunatelly most / all restaurants in the area were closed and the hotel does not offer restaurant service
Stayed here one night for business. This is a plain Best Western hotel. Nothing more, nothing less. So I will not make a big fuss out of it. But a few things: - Room felt very clean. It did smell old. Really old, but not dirty. - Rooms are very out of date, but still they had some charm to them. - There is a fridge in the room, with a minibar selection. A few beer, white wine and soft drinks. - Location is central and parking is free, right outside the door. You must check in before 11PM as the front desk closes at that time. There is a special night entrance around the corner. - Breakfast was very good. Very fresh and nice. Would I stay here again? Yes, I suppose so. Choice is limited in Skive and there was nothing wrong with the hotel. Pleasant people working there too so...
This is a business hotel centrally located in the town of Skive (not that it would be far from the town centre even if it were on the outskirts - Skive is not exactly a giant city).. The hotel has both older and newer wings, and is built on the old foundations of Skivehus castle. I stayed in one of their economy rooms, but it had all I needed, including a minibar with a very basic selection (there are a couple better beers available in the reception) and wireless internet (a bit unstable). The breakfast selection was moderate but sufficient. Very friendly receptionist. Might visit again.
