The location is excellent, walking distance from the castle and restaurants. Hotel and room was very clean and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast is delicious.

Viandem is a paradise by itsel, and if you book the Heintz Hotel then you will have the perfect combination. Great boutique hotel, owner operated family business, Great historic facility full of simple and natural elegance. Breakfast is amazing

Family welcome made this Hotel not to forget

What was not to to like .Was made very welcome by Carol and her family in this 1600s hotel after a long train trip from Waterloo. Vianden is out of the way and Ettelbruck is the main hub ,but its 1/2 an hour away by regular bus and its a quiet touristy beautiful town . So much to see if you love the outdoors . The hotel was clean and very quaint . It has a small bar and the rooms were so clean . Breakfast is 9 euro but i never left empty and unlimited coffee kept me going all day . Wifi was a little hit and miss but considering its an old building and on cobbled road i got by .All over very reasonable priced and i would recommend to anyone looking for a top hotel .

Nice place to be.

The outside of the hotel is beautiful, and the insodenis quaint and nice to look at. The rooms are bare bones. (Some don't have a bathroom, and a few have shared bathrooms). If you want to park at the hotel you have to call ahead. Breakfast is not included, it is 9eu per person, and is buns swiss cheese, a deli meat platter, a small selection of drinks and a small cup of flavored yogurt. There are lots of cool shops and restaurants around the hotel but not in the hotel. The hotel terrace is very pretty though.

Very charming hotel in the heart of Vianden

The location is great & the hotel is really charming and cute. We were pleasantly surprised at how nice this hotel was. It was a bargain! The only thing you have to worry about is parking (I got lucky and found a spot on the side of the hotel). I booked through hotels.com and put in a message that I would need parking, but apparently the hotel never got that message, so be careful! I'd definitely recommend this hotel for Vianden!

Fantastic location

This hotel is right out of the 1920's in decor. The hosts were warm and friendly. Right in the center of the small village of Vianden. Walking to everything. Excellent value.

Although web says parking available they don't say it costs €10 a night extra. Photo shows hotel in wooded surround - it is NOT, in the middle of a noisy village street. Breakfast extra, room with a view extra. Getting the TV to work extra or it might be if you could find anyone to fix it after 8pm. No chance of breakfast (extra) before 8am!! Even in Luxembourg most businesses start before then. Never !
