Hotel San Pietro4.0 out of 5.0

We enjoyed views of the snow capped mountains in the distance, to be fair though the hotel is surrounded by roads! The San Pietro is about a 25 minutes walk from Piazza Bra and about a 20 minute walk from the bus station/railway station. The room was a good size and the shower room was very well appointed, good size shower, excellent. There was no supper facility but the breakfast was of the highest standard. The hotel was clean and the staff were all very helpful and friendly, we wouldn't hesitate to use again.
We have booked this hotel for holidays in beginning of May.My husband and 2 children. We choose free cancellation option, and it was up to 28.4 We should be in hotel from 30.4. 2017 until 2.5.2017 Unfortunately, 28.4 I found out that my children got some kind of infection and they ended up with high temperature, so we had to cancel our vacation . Immediately, I cancelled my reservation (about 9 a.m) and hotel instead free cancellation charged me 170 € So, I called the hotel, explained situation and I was hoping that they would have compassion, and they would not charge me for this unpredictable situation. Receptionist tried to talk with his manager, but manager didn't care at all and behaved as if it was not his business. They withdrew money from my credit card just like that . My conclusion is: hotel San Pietro absolutely does not care about human's problems, they only interested to take money from you!!! So be careful!!!
Fantastic hotel. We are loving our time here. Clean rooms with amazing bathroom. We been walking every day to town square and the walk is only 10-15 minutes. Huge selection of breakfast. Staff are helpful and polite.
We had a great stay at this hotel. Pietro at the front Desk is a very kind and helpful guy who handed us a city map and explained how to reach the city center, either by foot (15min), free bicycle (5min), car or public transport. The location is easily accessible and the rooms were nice. Breakfast is alright.
We stayed here for a couple of days, it is close to the main train station which is great for getting to Venice, this costs around €9 each way if you go 2nd class. The staff here are really friendly and hospitable, the bar is reasonable and has a good selection. The rooms are fantastic we stayed is the delux room which is worth paying extra for. The breakfast has plenty of variety and didn't disappoint. This hotel is not in the centre of Verona so you'll need to catch a bus taxi or walk it's about 2km away, one great thing is the car park is included in the cost.
The water was just lil warm, real hard to take a good shower in winter without getting sick. We told them about the issue and did nothing. Small room with little amenities.no fridge or minibar.very small tv.
I'm really sorry to say that my experience of Hotel San Pietro was not too great. My check-in time was from 2pm (at least according to Booking.com) and so I was due to arrive in Verona about 1.30pm. I went to check-in at 1.45pm, only to have the concierge tell me that he was just about to cancel my booking and that I was late! But he was really quite rude when telling me this at the time, even though I was a young solo traveller. The room and hotel itself was good, but it was just this initial experience that really put me off my stay here.
Very nice hotel. Clean rooms, great personal. We are very satisfied of prices and conditions. Recommend this hotel for any type of holidays. Nice architecture, nice employees. Good placement. We enjoyed
I stayed for a couple of nights during my solo trip in Italy. I felt very welcomed and the staff was caring and helpful. The location is very central and I could reach all the places in walking distance.
The hotel room was good size and clean. It was a bit complicated to get to hotel parking with the car, but the parking space is just in front of the hotel, spacious and convinient. Hotel is located 25min away from the center (walk) but they offer a free bike rental and that is great option. Brekfust was ok. Receptionist was rude. He acted unfriendly like he was annoyed that someone is bothering him. So we didnt even think to ask him for some tips..
