Nice hotel outside the city gate. Big room, good bed and good breakfast. Misser a place to sit outside in the nice weather. Had room facing the street with some trafic noise, but was ok. What's not ok is that gjest are stansing outside at the entrace and Stoke so if the Windows is open, the Stoke godes straight into the room. So smoking should be moved. Ate finner a couple of times in the evening, but that was nothing special.
Great location for the walled city. Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was a good continental affair. You could not really want for anything as it kinda provides everything you want from the hotel as described. One tip ..when you check in you may want to ask for an extra pillow if there are two of you. We found only three in the room (one extra to what was on the bed) they are functional but a bit thin.
Very Good hotel East to find. Good location. High class room. Nice and helpful personel A Good palace to Use as a base for the wine executions. Well worth the money. Soave is very small city but a lot to find and very Good bus connection to Verona.
We had booked this beautiful hotel for 2 nights. Spotless, beautiful finishes, lovely room, terrific room, friendly staff. The problem: nasty arrogant owner. We arrived with an expectation of fully functioning air conditioning. This was confirmed and guaranteed by hotels.com and the Hotel as well. Rooms were 26 degrees C with zero ac. Fans in room did not work. The desk told us that there was a technical problem and the repair company would address this the next day. Not true! We subsequently learned that in fact the air worked on the fourth floor owner suites and none of the rooms.below had working air conditioning. We learned this because we were told we would be moved to 2 shared rooms on the fourth floor for our second night. There was a local festival outside the the hotel with bands and huge crowds. This was great until we learned that people would be partying literally outside our hotel room windows until 4 am. The desk told us it would all end by midnight. Lie #2! No air conditioning, couldn't open our windows and 26.5 Celsius in the room. Not.good. We asked to.cancel the 2nd night and the hotel (owner) refused unless we paid for the 2nd night. We had to involve Hotels.com. they called while we were.standing in the lobby. We watched the owner ignore the phone, finally pick it up and then place them on hold. After 45 minutes he finally caved in and agreed to allow.us to cancel without paying for the 2nd night. Bottom line: amazing hotel if you don't need air conditioning AND do not have to deal with the owner.
We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Roxy Plaza and could not fault a thing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff I had emailed ahead of our stay and asked if it was possible for a room with a view of the castle and our room was fantastic - large double room with a seating area and lovely clean bathroom. View was better than could have imagined. We arrived slightly earlier than expected and whilst our room was being prepared for us we were offered complementary drinks and snacks during our wait (only 20 mins). The hotel had also arranged reservations on our behalf for wine tasting at the Coffele winery which was also great. Breakfast was a continental buffet but plenty of choice of meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fruit and yoghurts. Was truly a fantastic break and can't wait to return.
This hotel is located right in front of the gates to the old town, at a cross road which is very convenient for everything. There is an underground garage but we did not use it since the hotel reserve a few parking spaces right at the entrance. The rooms are very spacious and the bathrooms have all the amenities with top quality bath robes, however, the junior suite had a tiny small shower box. The staff at the reception are very kind and nice and the breakfast is more than sufficient incorporating many bio items. I definitely recommend it, don't think twice.
Chose this hotel just to have somewhere near Verona to stay, so happy I did!! Soave itself is a great little town, nice castle that was a surprise as we rounded the corner on the road in. Flea market took over town on Sunday and a great time walking around. Hotel was great. Beautiful place, wonderful staff, garage parking, great price, everything you could want. Bed was a bit stiff for me, but still would happily stay here again.
We looked forward to returning again to this modern hotel, with underground parking, in the beautiful old town of Soave. We were certainly not disappointed. Our room was clean, quiet, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Hopefully we will be able to return in the future.
Very nice hotel at the boarder of the city. We got a nice calm room, very comfortable. Breakfast was a loaded buffet with lot of fresh fruit and bread. Nearby is a small good restaurant, with good food and sorted wines from the Soave.
Hotel Roxy Plaza is our standard stop in wine trip to Soave and Valpolicella. Hotel has a fantastic location close, walking distance to Soave old town and easy access to every direction by car. The hotel has also a good garage. Roxy is smallish, clean, has good breakfast and spacious rooms. Wireless internet works well. Service is friendly and English seems to be no problem. We have stayed here five times and not looking for other alternatives.
