Really good place with excellent service and staff! Fair price too! Also perfect location: 2 minutes walk from the arena!! Totally recommended!! Breakfast service was good and so were the bedrooms!! ☺
I was surprised to find that my room was across the street from where you check in and get breakfast, ice, etc. However, it was a newly remodeled room with an amazing shower -- I had to turn the pressure down it was so strong. Very clean and everyone working there was so helpful. The location of the hotel could not have been better. It is on the edge of the Plaza -- taxi could still access before the walking only part of the city. The hotel connected me with a driver who was wonderful. I was travelling alone and felt very safe.
Our apartment was nothing like what is shown in the pictures. Despite the good location, it was dark and dingy and everything felt a bit dirty. The staff on the main reception were rude and unhelpful. The apartment was within an easy walking distance of all of the major attractions but that was the only good thing about staying here. Verona is a beautiful city but i would recommend staying elsewhere.
This hotel is in a great location, just on the edge of Piazza Bra amd about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station.Room was ok, basic but comfortable. There were the usuals-towels, hairdryer, some products and tv though no English speaking channels which wasnt a major thing but would have been nice to have at least 1! Breakfast was ok, not much in the way of a cooked one-there was scrambled egg and small sausages but there was plenty of cereals, bread and fruit etc. The wifi had a good signal and was free. The staff were friendly. I would recommend staying here.
Very nice ☺ Staff was really friendly, Rooms were really good clean and service great i give them 5 stars they really disurve it ☺We were 4 nights and it was the best. Breakfast was fine also .Thank you so much !
Good location. It was walking distance to Verona city centre. Staff was friendly and was happy to assist us with directions and recommendations. Breakfast is also very good. Most hotels only provide continental breakfast but they also have english breakfast (scrambled eggs and bacon). The rooms were a bit small but standard for European standards. The only thing I would watch out for is to make sure the room you're booking is in the new building as they do not advertise this in the site. The rooms in the old building are very old. Thankfully, the airconditioning wasn't working and they managed to place us in the newly renovated rooms.
We stayed here some 9 years ago. The hotel reception is undergoing renovations at the moment but there is no inconvenience to guests. The rooms are modern and the breakfast room offers a selection of hot and cold buffet style breakfast. The location is very good being only a short walk to Piazza Bra and an easy 10 to 15 minute walk to Piazza Erbe.
My relatives stayed at the hotel's apartment. They discovered (too late) that the apartments are in an area where driving is forbidden without a permission. The hotel never told my relatives that they needed this permission so my husband (not Italian) drove them right into this area to their apartments unaware. After 6 months my husband get warned to pay a 91 euros fine for having driven our relatives to their hotel. The hotel's webpage in English language doesn't mention the need of a permission. The hotel staff won't take responsibility for the incident and won't even listen to me when I try to talk to them on the phone to explain the situation. Really rude of them.
If you are looking for a moderately priced hotel that still fulfills all criteria to satisfy a demanding traveler this might be the place. Our room was in a separate building, clean, European size, modern’ish. Very standard, nothing luxury but it worked. The hotel is located 50 meters from the old town gate, therefore being in walkable distance from Juliet’s balcony. That would be the woman who had a relationship with Romeo. The only thing that I found annoying was the soap in the shower that miraculously vanished before I was able to scrub it on me. Bring your own.
The location of this hotel is perfect, the room was really clean and comfy, the front desk staff really young and professional. All in all an enjoyable stay in the heart of Verona. I would surely recommend it
