Pretty good hotel, great location and the restaurant is above average Also Great Restaurant (Ocean Grill) across the street

The motel was a little rundown and it took a long time to get quiet at night. We were staying there for a place to sleep, not as a vacation spot. For us it wasn't very good.

It was ok .the shower was leaking from underneath .so the carpet was soaked when we got our room .it would be nice to have a discount on room.and they act like they didn't know about it .......

Got to the hotel early and our room was ready for check in. Suite was on ground floor so just walked out the door to the beach. Children loved the pool. Meals at Mulligans were very good with great variety for adults and children

I stay at the Holiday Inn Oceanside in Vero Beach about 6 times a year when visiting family. I feel it is extremely good value, especially for a hotel directly on the beach. While it's not overly fancy, it's nice, clean dependable, and the staff very friendly and efficient. It is my "go to" hotel when I'm in Vero Beach.

hotel is older model but extremely clean and comfortable...if the reservation say no cancellation there is no gimmees

The A/C was noisy and the curtains let a lot of light into the room. They were just shear curtains not room darkening.

front desk was not very accommodating. the whole place needs updating. they are lucky that they are one of the only places to stay in the area.

Extremely pleasant and helpful employees, convenient and fun restaurant on site

This hotel was great!! The beach view was awesome. My wife and I spent most nights relaxing and listening to the wave’s crash on the beach. The room was clean and spacious. I like a really soft bed, and it seems that all hotels have firm beds. However, they have a variety of soft and firm pillows already in the room to use. My only real issue with the room was the lack of water pressure in the shower. After a day at the beach, it is hard to get the sand off when the shower head has less flow than the sink. Overall, I would defiantly go back!!!

I have stayed at this hotel before and have had nothing but outstanding service . The staff is always helpful from the maid service to the front desk. The computer with printer in the lobby is quite helpful in printing our boarding passes for the airline, saving us at least an hour in line at the airport. Being on the beach is such a plus. After visiting a relative we were able to change and be on the beach in minutes. The restaurant on site is great for breakfast right at the edge of the beach. Haven't used the pool since I prefer the beach but it is always neat, clean, and inviting looking.

We wanted to spend as much time at the ocean as possible during our trip to Florida, so after 4 days in Orlando at Nickelodeon Hotel(FYI-FANTASTIC hotel-I DEFINATELY Recommend NICK Hotel ...worth every penny) we drove to Vero Beach for our stay in this Oceanside Hotel. Ill give the positive points of this stay first....the location is perfect, the pool was nice, the front lobby was very nice which was extremely decieving! Now thats pretty much the only nice things I can say! After stepping over the vomit in the walkway on the way to our room we arrived at our room....the room was literally falling apart, carpet was coming up and the heater/air conditioning unit was full of dirt and rust (FILTHY), the room was stocked with 6 dirty towels, and someone elses hair all over the bathroom. Mini fridge had someones leftover food in it and there is a dialy fee for a microwave to be brought to the room! The maintenence man said that if we needed to heat things up we could walk down to the front desk and they'll heat it up for us for free. Soooo thats exactly what i did every time the kids wanted a snack (ALL DAY LONG) i sent them to the lobby, they finally got tired of it and sent the microwave up free of charge :) The jacuzzi was LITERALLY filled with dirt all the way to the top and had orange cones around it! How nasty is that!! SOOOOOO I would say that unless you plan on never being in the room you should stear clear of this hell hole.

The first room they put us in ... AC not working correctly and seemed dirty. Asked for new room...much better but cramped bathroom and not at all much better that I think we would find at a Motel 8

Worst Holiday Inn I have ever been in. Far too costly for what you get. Great staff, but they can only do so much with a decrepit room. Very expensive restaurant, mediocre food, great staff.

Overall the hotel was very nice. The location was great, right on the beach! Plenty of nice places to eat within walking distance. The rooms on the beach side worth the extra money, providing nice view of the ocean. A good deal for the money.

We stayed during Labor Day Holiday weekend. The rooms itself were just okay. The staff was friendly. We did not get a chance to go in the pool, so I don't know much about it. The hotel was right on the beach, so that was great, especially for the kids. Because of the location, there was not much for young children to do. We had to drive back on the US1 to get to the shopping and popular restaurants. The first night we got there, we had to walk to find some pizza for the kids, and after all that walking they only accepted cash and checks! What restaurant only accepts cash and checks? The room did not have any microwave, so we had to eat cold leftover pizza the next day. There are some HORRIBLE little bugs that bite that were in the area, that are called 'no see-ums'. I was bit all over the first night--just HORRIBLE. So for future reference make sure you have bug repellent! There were kids running up and down the halls all night and slamming doors, which made our stay dissappointing. Overall the hotel was okay, the location is not ideal for families with young children (except for beach). Nice and quiet location for older families or couples.

Friendly staff, recently updated rooms, walked to fantastic restaurants (including the attached restaurant), great value on the beach

We stayed here 25 years ago and it was great. Unfortunately for us and them it has not changed or been updated since then. Rooms are extremely old, not very clean, the A/C system runs nonstop and is loud. Not worth the price, ocean view or not!!!
