Spent three nights there on a business trip. Conveniently located, typical Courtyard. You find immediately what you're looking for once you have been in some of these hotels. Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms - all basic requirements covered.
Very clean hotel with great updates. One of the better pools for a smaller location. Bar staff very courteous and many options. We stayed for an evening but very comfortable and quiet. Great business hotel location.
It is a sigh of relief to see NEW, modern furniture with impeccably clean floors, walls, counters, and bathrooms. Everything was given the WHITE GLOVE treatment. The beds were comfortable and had a selection of multiple pillows with different levels of firmness, so you are sure to find “THE” perfect pillow. Again, the furniture was new(er) and certainly had no signs of funky smells or mystery stains. Bathrooms are usually an issue at hotels but the toilet, sinks and bath were meticulously cleaned and had no signs of previous occupants. Housekeeping did an excellent job and you could see they moved furniture, curtains, and small objects to give it their best effort. Overall room cleanliness was a 10 out of 10. As far as noise.... the room was well insulated and the door sealed properly (some hotels have a gap around or at the bottom of the door) but almost all passing traffic and noises could not be heard. There is a small pool that appeared clean, but I did not use it. There is a mini golf green with free clubs and balls which we had fun playing with the kids. Inside the lobby is a full service bar and restaurant. It does have limited hours, but when open, it is delicious!!! Otherwise, there are restaurants within a few minutes drive. I highly recommend staying here! ** If you found this review helpful, please click the THANK YOU icon shown below! ***
I have always known the Marriott name to equate to quality. This location has been completely updated recently and we were expecting more than what it had to offer. The lighting in the room was terrible. The shield over the bathroom sink is yellowed so any benefit you would get from the weak bulb placed in the unit, is reduced by the discolored shield. The new high hat lights are weak, at best, and unless you can do your makeup in the dark, good luck. We were put in a handicap room because they stated they were full. It did not look like they were full to me, unless most of their patrons had arrived by bus, no bus in sight. The mattress was like sleeping on the floor. Because it was a handicap room, it was absent of the couch and replaced with an extremely hard chair with ottoman. I guess handicap people don't need to have a comfy couch to watch television. Coming from a career in Rehabilitation, I always find it strange when hotels want to restrict their handicap room accommodations to fit their concept of a handicapped customer. The room price does not include food. The lobby concept is a Starbucks Bistro with very limited hours. This location is less than a 2 minute walk to McDonalds and a Cracker Barrel. Needless to say, nobody was ever in the lobby when I was there and considering they stated the hotel was full, I guess this concept is a bust. The WiFi was difficult to connect to and you need to be careful when signing on to insure you get the free and not the one they charge $4.95 per day. For the price, in the future, we will stay at a Holiday Inn Express and enjoy more benefits and accommodations for a lower price.
Terrific location off I-95, "Charlies" sports bar a mile away and Cracker Barrel next door. Short Drive to Stuart Beach and Hutchinson Island Indian River Plantation. Very clean and Marriott level professional staff.
We were staying at a nearby hotel and were not happy there due to very uncomfortable beds and pillows. We decided to come in and check out Courtyard Stuart. The person at the front desk was extremely helpful and allowed us to look around. We decided to leave our hotel and spend our last two nights in Florida at Courtyard Stuart. I only wish that we had stayed here the entire time! The rooms are very spacious. The hotel was so clean and comfortable. As I mentioned before, the staff was wonderful. The beds and pillows were great. We did not eat there. We walked to Cracker barrel next door for breakfast. The outside pool looked very nice and clean. There is a fire pit outside and looks nice. My only complaint about the hotel is that the smoker's completely dominated the area around the fire pit and people that do not smoke or cannot tolerate being around smoke (asthmatics) can not go out there at all. I wish it were smoke free. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.
We have stayed in our fair share of hotels and I think this really tops them all. Check in was super fast and easy, front desk staff was lovely and the property, including rooms are immaculate. The beds are perfect too. Well done Courtyard! We normally stay with Hilton Brands but I think we've changed our minds!
They are in the middle or an exterior renovation but this was an excellent hotel for the night. Nice and quiet which we appreciated. Plus they had a courtesy shuttle to take us to the restaurant in downtown. Excellent!
I am a contractor and I spend more time away than I do at home. I spent 13 months and two hurricanes at the Courtyards Stuart and I have to admit that I will miss not only the Hotel but everyone that works there. The staff made my assignment a lot easier by making me feel like home. The front desk personnel was great, Michael always going the extra mile during the day and Keera and Jade in the evening always ensuring that I was taken care of and Tony at nights was very cordial. Dave from management and Jerry were always helpful. The management Pete and Kim were fantastic and always took care of me. Housekeeping was great. At the restaurant Kelly during the days was always friendly and very nice. Now, the ones working at the restaurant in the evening (John, Jacob and Lauren) they actually made me feel like I was more than a customer and made my stay one of the best that I had so far. They were fantastic. I will miss this place and if I have the choice of coming back I would most definately will, If anyone is looking for a place to stay at Stuart FL and want a place that actually cares about their customers look no further, this is the place. If I missed anyone I apologize. I like to say thanks to all of you at the Courtyards Stuart. See you soon.
We (myself, elderly mother and pet cat) evacuated to this hotel for hurricane Irma. The hotel was welcoming and friendly, the room beautiful, and the staff outstanding. The loss of power during the second night on account of the storm made for some challenges, but the staff went above and beyond to accommodate guests and made up for inconveniences wherever humanly possible in spite of being exhausted themselves. Pete, the manager, was phenomenal in keeping the operation going efficiently in what was an increasingly chaotic situation. We could not have been in better hands, and we will definitely be back the next time we need to evacuate.
