Just a 1.5-hour drive from NYC, this relaxing vacation rental is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts! This stylish 1,300 sq. ft. 3BR loft cabin is one of the most contemporary duplex cabin condos in the complex, located at the very end right next to Mountain Creek’s Triple Chairlift. Each duplex has two units (upper and lower), and ours is the upper unit, offering gorgeous mountain views from a greenhouse window. Ideal for 6 people but can easily accommodate up to 8 guests upon request.

LIVING ROOM: It features two-story of high ceilings with 2 skylights, which gives bright and spacious atmosphere. With two Greenhouse Windows and sliding doors to a private balcony, it also offers magnificent panoramic mountain views and sunsets. The room is tastefully furnished with modern and artsy décor throughout, but the best highlight is the cozy Teddy Sofa, which is perfect for relaxing, socializing, and movie nights with a smart TV.
DINING AREA: It comes with a wood table with long seating benches to accommodate a group of guests. The area can also serve as a co-working space during the day, while there's also a dedicated workspace with a wooden desk and Herman Miller Aeron chair, perfect for remote work with Wi-Fi.
KITCHEN: The open kitchen, shared with the living and dining area, is fully equipped with all the basic cookware and appliances including a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, blender, toaster, various knives, cutting boards, pans, pots and dishware.
Bedroom 1: Queen Bed The specious main bedroom comes with a queen-sized bed, a full-sized closet and drawer dressers. It has direct access to a bathroom which also has another door to the hallway.
Bedroom 2: Queen Bed This hidden gem is located secretly at the end of the kitchen. Featuring some artworks and vibrant colors, this Queen-sized bedroom with half-sized closet and drawer chest brings artsy vibes.
Bedroom 3 (Loft): King Bed The Scandinavian themed loft bedroom in the upper loft has a King sized bed, drawer dressers and an arm chair and ottoman. It also comes with its own private bathroom and shower!
Additional 2 Guest - Living Room: Teddy Sofa Teddy Sofa in the living room can turn out to 4 twin size mattresses to sleep 2 additional guests comfortably. (See the photo as an example of the layout) We provide bedding sheets to cover the sofa and comforters for the additional guests.
Outdoor deck: An ideal place for morning coffee, catching sunsets, and stargazing in a hanging egg chair.

House Rules: Please read our House Rules section before booking, and proceed with booking ONLY IF you can respect and follow our rules. If any rules are broken, we will charge you the cost for the repair/resolve the issue.
• Please take your shoes off inside the unit. We provide disposable slippers for guests.
• No animals or pets inside the unit due to severe allergies in the owner’s household. $250 fees applies if broken for deep cleaning, but please please do NOT bring, this is a health hazzard.
• No smoking or drugs in the unit.
• Always keep screen doors/windows closed to keep bugs out.
• Eat only in the kitchen, dining, or outdoor areas. Please do not eat on the living room couch or in the bedrooms.
• Don’t leave food outside on the patio as it attracts bugs and animals.
• No grilling is allowed in the community due to fire hazards and safety concerns.
• Don’t bring bicycles inside the unit.
• The locked owner’s closet is private – do not open.
• Please report any damages to the host immediately.
• The unit can accommodate up to 8 adult guests, and all must be included in the reservation. This applies to anyone entering the residence, not just those sleeping there. If your party exceeds this number due to children, please contact us.
Other Important Notes: - If you have guests younger than 23, please contact us first - identification will be required for booking. Children accompanied by a legal guardian are exempt.
- The cabin is NOT wheelchair accessible, and stairs are required for access. It is NOT suitable for people with mobility issues inside and out. There’s a spiral staircase in the unit so infants/toddlers must be monitored at all times to prevent any accidents.
- We are Japanese couple with a small child and always take off shoes inside of the house to keep our home clean as a child-friendly space. We would need every guest member to agree this before booking our space. We provide complimentary disposable slippers to wear in the house per guest numbers.
- By state and federal standards, the water is safe to drink in Vernon Valley. However, Veolia, the water provider, recently didn’t meet one of New Jersey’s water treatment technique requirements. Out of an abundance of caution — especially since we have a small child — we personally choose to use bottled water for drinking and cooking. Helpful tips for using tap water safely for cooking and drinking will be provided in our pre-arrival guide & welcome guide, to be transparent and thoughtful toward our guests.
- The property is heavily treated for pest controls on a regular basis, but you are in the woods after all! Please make sure to shut the screen doors at all times to prevent bugs from coming indoors/windows.
- This cabin is inside of a gated community, and we will need the car license plate number in advance for passes that will give you access to our place. The passes can be issued to up to 2 cars; any additional cars need to be parked in the free parking lot at Minerals Hotel, which is 3 min drive away/17 min walk from our cabin.
- When you proceed with booking, you will see the "host fee" of $150 in the price breakdown. That's the cleaning fee we pay to the cleaning company and laundry service.

Property is a little dated. Floors were rickety, I'm sure the neighbor beneath was annoyed. Beds were uncomfortable and the pillows flat. The biggest concern was when we learned the water in the neighborhood is not is non potable. That's partly my fault for not reading the entire manual before arrival but to then expect your guests to have pick up additional water for coffee, cooking, brushing your teeth, and for hydrating that kind of makes for a less than desirable experience. Granted, the water quality is not within the owners control but the mitigation surely is.
