THE LOCATION

Vernon Township is in Sussex County New Jersey, USA. It is located about 1 hour from New York City and was established on April 8, 1793. Iron mining was prevalent during the mid-to-late 19th century. Mines such as Canister Mine, Williams Mine, and the Pochuck Mine created industry which spawned local businesses and brought rail travel to the town.
Today Vernon and the immediate area is an outdoor lover’s paradise. Here you will find a landscape consisting of residential and resort communities, farmland, apple orchards, pumpkin patches, bird watching, barns, horse farms and stables, lakes, fishing, and just so much natural beauty. The famous Appalachian Trail (AT) even runs through it! You will be amazed on what you will find only 1 hour outside of New York City.

Great stay. Very easy and efficient check in. Room was nice and clean. Slopes and snow tubing was about a 6 minute walk from building. Just a heads up, there's technically no one to check you in/out. The only staff around was the cafe and bar employees. Overall, Would recommend!

My husband and I stayed 1 night and it was perfect! It was clean, instructions to access the building and unit were simply to follow, and the entire property was very clean. The pool and hot tub were wonderful! Close to Warwick so went up there for dinner. Would definitely stay here again

It was our anniversary and thre was surprise anniversary card, bottle it wine and glasses! They were so thoughtful to take the time to think of that and take the time. The room was spotless, cozy, and they were so accommodating and friendly. The hot tub and sauna were clean and so relaxing! We would absolutely go back! U will be very happy with this choice!
