It is a nice hotel with comfortable rooms and amenities. I stayed just one night with my mom, unfortunately, the weather changed, it was windy and overcast and we couldn't use the pool. However, the facilities are very nice, there is an underground parking ( a little small though) and the pool must be nice in sunny weather. The hotel has view to the ocean, although no access to the beach. The hotel offers complimentary breakfast. It is a buffet with the basic things: coffee, tea, orange juice, bread, fruit, yogurt and hot plates like scrambled eggs and Chilaquiles. The breakfast area is a little small, so it can be crowded at certain hours, but is nice to have breakfast with an ocean view. Just one little detail in the room: the air conditioner had a draught, I think it needed to be fixed because there was this air noise at night in the room, even though it was off.
It took them hours to give us the room. Thwy said check in time was 2 oclock. We got there at 5 and the room were not ready yet. We stood in line for 90 minutes and were never offered a thing. Front desk people didnt even care, and finally when we got the room...it wasnt ready yet!
Nice family appropriate hotel in the mid-range pricing for Vera Cruz. Easy access from the airport or bus station by taxi. Good morning Mexican buffet three steps up from continental with basic fruit, eggs, bread, yogurt selections. Well prepared and great for a family. Across the street is a good restaurant with medium to higher prices. Big pool and own beach on the gulf. Lots of walking available along the seaside walkway called the malecon. Shopping, sites and lots of beach time for recreation. I would return for overnight visits.
The smell in the room was disgusting, the bathroom was dirty, the towels were to old. The check in its supposed to be at 3:00 they let us in at 6:00, dirty windows and it can't be opened. We paid for 2 nights but we couldn't stay in a hotel with this conditions, so we move on to another hotel nearby!
This is a modest hotel, not high end, but it is really clean, and mostly I loved it because the staff is so great. I suffered abrupt illness when I was there, and they were amazing. They arranged to get me transported to the hospital, and showed great concern. You never know something
one of the worst Hotels I ever stayed in... a horrible stink of mold in the room, dirty windows you can not open, we stayed 2 hours with the the door open, thinking it would get better, but no way... so we paid for the night and left immediately to the Villas Florida a few steps away what a waist of money!
Breakfast served in the Hotel lobby and it is no good. Hard mattress, old sheets, old towels, old pillow and pillow cases too. Can not sleep from the noise coming through the air condition. The bedroom window can not be opened and are dirty, not seen for outside I do not recommend this hotel.
It is a low end hotel but still a nice stay. A little conflict at the front desk at check-in because they had not received my reservation from the booking agent. However, this was resolved and the front desk people were very nice about it. The room was average but the nice people made up for everything. It is right on the water with some very nice 'vistas' of the Gulf of Mexico. I did not eat at the restaurant because of the hour I arrive. The following morning I did not like the looks of the breakfast so I did not eat anything. They need to improve the presentation of their food - included with the room or not - it should at least look like something a person would like to eat! It is located close to a few nice places to eat so the hotel restaurant is not a big problem I would recommend it and would stay there again.
Good room, fair prices. Skimpy breakfast, non-transparent windows, slow internet, poor bathroom sink, noisey on the highway side. Very slow check-in. Even though the room was available, they would not let us in until after 3pm. Easy parking, good walk on beach, shopping and cine.
We knew this was a low cost hotel chain, so our expectations were not that high, but this was just not good. I do not really know where to start, cause everything we experienced here were bad. They did not respect the tariff we got on the internet (booking.com) they told us a higher price that we were forced to pay. Our rate from booking.com were in US dollars, and when we were paying in pesos, their excahange rate were rediculous high. They had a sign on the frontdesk that showed the exchange rate in US dollers, and the worst thing, they did not even respect their own rate ! They gave us a higher price. Generally the service at the reseption were terrible, not customer oriented at all. AC in the rooms must be manipulated, it did not cool down the room and the humity in the rooms were very high. I have done many travels in Mexico and I know the beds are hard, but these... they are really low quality and very, very hard. The breakfast was boring and not very tasty. The rooms were clean, and the location by the beach and having a swimmingpool is nice, but it is just not worth all the downside at the hotel. Would recomend everyone to chose another hotel. I for sure, will never ever stay there again !
