Ascend the steep driveway to what may be a little slice of Heaven at this cute property. Perched high on a hill with 180 degree views of Andersons Inlet and the Tarwin River estuary, this small but comfortable property is sure to delight you. This property has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a cosy living area that will best suit one family, sleeping 4 to 6 guests.
Step upstairs to enter the balcony that takes in the front and side of the house with an undercover entrance and barbeque area. Here is where you will want to be to take in the incredible views, watching the cowes graze in the morning and mobs of kangaroos in the evening.
Inside the petite kitchen and living area has a fully equipped kitchen with coffee maker, kitchenware and modern appliances to allow a fully self-catered stay. The island bench has three stools and the kitchen table has seating for 4.
The sitting area has a comfortable couch with chaise as well as foot stools. A smart tv with netflix available is there for when it is too dark to see the view out the living room doors. Each bedroom is comfortably furnished.
At 2 hours and 15 minutes from central Melbourne, Venus Bay is the perfect location for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of city living. Property was great, location and views. Checking into the property is outdated.You have to go to collect the keys from Raywhite Inverloch and then drop them off back at the agency. Haven't done that in years. Would be great if keys where located in a secure site and you could access them via a code.

Venus Bay relaxation
We had a very relaxing time at 'house with a view' cooking meals and visiting local attractions. Very quiet. House had wonderful views of inlet and farmlands (grazing cattle, kangas and Cape Barren Geese), and loved moonscape at night especially lying in bed (front room) watching stars and full moon track across the night sky- felt like glam camping in comfy bed and no mozzies! Beaches were amazing, and nature walks accessible and fantastic - no one else on tracks! House well stocked and local shops good especially Tarwin Lower IGA (had everything we needed including fresh fish and commodities). Loved being able to access Netflix for great films - Bank of Dave, Sleeping Dogs, Between the Lies.Suggestions - clearer information on linen packs being provided as part of rental cost, provision of wifi connection although no problems with phone connections using our own service providers (ie, no wifi available even though code provided), some reading books would be good and games/cards for dull weather days.
