Too many disappointments
Bones of the condo are good. Kitchen has been redone and is nice. The neighborhood community is clean and a great location. The neighbors and residents there are awesome people. Kind, friendly and helpful. The condo itself is lacking in so many areas. I’ve never rented a Florida condo with a lanai that has no chairs to sit on which made it unusable although the advertisement claim is “beautiful lanai overlooking the pool”. Bed linens were some of the shabbiest I’ve ever seen. Flannel sheets on one bed and a pillowcase with a hole. Sheets that don’t fit mattresses so they bunch up as you sleep. Nubby sheets that should have been discarded long ago ratty towels! while the condo sleeps four there are three decent bath towels. Person number four gets a towel that is so thin I wouldn’t use it to dry my car. There are two beach/pool towels The house is full of antiques. Walking in, it smells old and musty. I immediately bought six air fresheners one for every room. If you use the antique dressers, it makes your clothes smell musty. The antique bed in the master is beautiful however, the mattress top is about 36 inches off the floor you can hardly get in and out of the bed. It is a huge fall hazard. I am 73 and don’t know how they could rent to someone in my age bracket or even younger and definitely not older!! There are no screens on any of the windows so you can never open them up to get a nice airflow through even if the temperature permits. No beach chairs NO!
