I and my family thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at The Postcard. We enjoyed the ambience of the property, the delightful food, the excellent housekeeping, and the hospitality extended by the attentive staff. The rooms have an old-world charm about them, but are not missing in modern amenities. There are no landlines or televisions in the rooms, mind you. But we found this a welcome change from the 24x7 noisy distraction of the telly. So for room service, you directly call the ever-courteous manager Bharatvir Singh who unfailingly responds. Even though we arrived at The Postcard, Velha, during offseason in the middle of never-ending monsoon rains, the hotel staff ensured that our sightseeing plans were in the least bit affected. The Postcard, Velha, is not an economy hotel. But they make many things easy for you by not insisting on a cut-off time for breakfast and by enabling 24-hour checkouts and check-ins. If you ask nicely, the reservation staff may also provide you with a generous discount on the rack rates. To sum up, we loved the time we spent at The Postcard, Velha. I heartily recommend this hotel.
It was a pleasure to spend a total of 10 nights from 13 June at the three Postcards in Goa, made so by consistently caring and friendly service from all of the staff, without exception. Kartik, manager of the Moira, accompanied us on the hour-long trip from the airport, explaining how our stay and programme could be planned, a welcome very much appreciated. The help they gave for us to get out and about made all the difference and when back at the hotels everything was done to make us comfortable and well fed. The hotels themselves were each unique and absolutely charming and very well appointed. Well managed by Kartik Joshi, Bharatvir, Akshay and Santosh.
One unique specialty of postcard group hotel in Goa that they serve any time breakfast with their compliments irrespective of check in/out time.and also offers good cashback credit on food and poolside drinks.
The Postcard Velha experience was a delight from start to finish. Situated walking distance from Old Goa, the hotel is in a gated setting and is quiet and secure. The grounds are lush and beautiful and our accommodation was superb; comfortable, spacious and immaculately clean. We were treated as special guests and friends throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff. The quality of service from all staff was exemplary and faultless. We ate in the hotel most days and the menu was discussed and adapted to our requirements, even down to the appetisers and snacks served with the drinks. Perfect! The quality of the food and drink was of the highest standard and its presentation was incomparable. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool which is regularly maintained and very safe and welcoming. The service of the on-site Ayurvedic Treatment team was wonderful. Dr Mubash is a superb practitioner and treated my foot problem then prescribed my wife's wonderful massage. The massages are given by a female masseuse for women and a male masseur for men. Safeera was a delight and our only regret is that we didn't have a daily treatment each. This is the place to come for complete relaxation and luxury. It is among the best of the luxury hotels we have stayed in throughout the world. We recommend it without hesitation and commend it for its superb management and service, friendliness and exemplary attention to detail. We didn't want to leave and we definitely would choose to return.
When traveling, we always look for a unique experience and a home far away from home. We found that in The Postcard Velha, and in their other two properties - Cuelim and Moira - if you haven’t checked them out, please do! The hotel is split into two beautiful villas nestled within lush surroundings. Rooms are spacious, cozy and immaculately clean, thanks to Prakash and Dharmander. On each villa, there is a seating room with a tv, games and books to enjoy. Outside, beautiful garden and pool. Thank you Beju and Bir who pampered us all the time with cocktails and anything we wanted, always so attentive! The food was beyond delicious! The chefs (Manoj, Rohit and Chidanad) they will cook anything you want, from a lovely curry to a pizza! If you are interested in Ayurvedic treatments, Dr. Mubash and his team, Safeera and Laalu, will look after you. Was my first time doing an Ayuverdic treatment and I loved it! A big thank you to Santosh, Shiv and Sandesh who welcomed us in such a warm, friendly way, who made us feel at home. This was our first time in India and The Postcard team made it so special that we are certainly coming back to visit.
I was fortunate to spend an unforgettable day at the PostCard Hotel Goa Velha. The reception was excellent because after a trip of almost 24 hours, my husband and I were greeted with a fresh and tasty coconut water. We asked if there was any possibility of having breakfast and we were immediately presented with a delicious meal. There were so many attentions that I can only say that it had never been received with such perfection. Before finishing I would also like to thank the wonderful dinner that was prepared to celebrate the 25 years of marriage and once again EXCELLENT. I want to leave a word of special thanks to Beju who was always very attentive and patient. If you are ever going to Goa Velha do not hesitate to go the PostCard Velha.
Our family gathered from around the world at The Postcard Velha for our annual reunion. The two villas beautifully appointed villas, set on a large estate were luxurious, quiet and impeccably serviced. The staff were wonderful, and the food out of this world. We had Christmas dinner at the Postcard - what a magical experience - Indian Christmas decorations festooned the gardens, the Goan cuisine was magnificent. Thank you for a most memorable stay. We will be back.
We organised a family trip to celebrate my fathers 80th birthday. The level of attention to detail, the food , the rooms and most importantly the staff blew me away. This might have been the best family vacation we’ve had so far, and its all because of the postcard staff and facilities. This location truly defines luxury and will make it hard for you to stay anywhere else after you experience this :)
