This place has a lot of charm, wonderful breakfasts (extra) & very helpful Staff. It's on the other side of the river from Avignon, so not as convenient for sightseeing, but a good base for exploring other towns in Provence.
This lovely little hotel run by a very nice couple is a good place to stay in Avignon. They were most helpful and the went out of there way for us. Two draw backs are the location is about a half hour walk from down town and there are no elevators so you end up lugging your suitcases up flights of stairs. The good part is the owner was more that willing to help carry them up. They offered a breakfast for 8 Euro which we did not use but our friends did and said it was wonderful.
