booked by chance, was looking for somewhere whilst on route to spain. the is really easy to find straight after the toll exit. has a reasonable restaurant where we were able to get a good meal at 22:00. room was not that big but was adequate for two adults and a child. had a good nights sleep so was up and ready for the next days drive though changed the plans and went to visit the roman theatre - well worth it.
Stayed here on our way back from Spain staff were friendly and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Parking is very good and the price was very reasonable. Certainly will be stopping here again for sure.
Overall what you pay for good staff and comfortable beds parking and fair value for the evening meal BUT the breakfast was well over priced for what you got , very disappointing 6 euros would have been more then enough with not even an egg boiler
We stayed here on the way south, The hotel is a short distance from the toll road and easy to find, The check in simple the receptionist spoke good English. My room was compact but clean the bed comfortable, with tea and coffee making facilities, The air conditioning worked fine, I did not eat at the restaurant my friends said breakfast was fine, The car park seemed secure and eleven o'clock the gates are locked The Hotel is around a 20 minute walk to the wonderful town centre there,s lots of good restaurants and roman history, I wish I had more time to explore Would definitely stay here again overall a very pleasant experience.
An overnight stop on the long haul home. We were too late to visit Orange itself but so much enjoyed our meal and bottle of wine sitting outside that we have vowed to return. It was spotlessly clean, the bed was oh so comfy and everything would have been perfect except that the air conditioning was totally inadequate and we spent an uncomfortable sticky night. We would also have liked curtains that kept the morning light out but there were only nets in place. It is close to the motorway but we did not notice the traffic noise. The overheated room marred the visit but in the winter, this hotel would be perfect.
Easy to get to from the motorway and has parking for about 20 cars. Our room on the ground floor only had outside access to the hotel facilities, ie. You get wet if it's raining when you go for a meal. The room was clean and small but had a bath/shower as well as toilet and sink and in the bedroom a huge lcd tv. Reception was helpful and staff spoke English. Food in the evening and at breakfast was simple but good. We had ants in the bathroom and at night the road noise from lorries was very loud and persistent.
All good, nice room, just by the motorway so a good stop for a night. Good breakfast, lockdown at night so motorbike was nice and safe. Will be back if driving this Route again. I can recommend this place to others just passing thrue..
Orange is quite a small town, so although it may seem that the Campanile is a long way from the centre, it is actually only about an easy ten minute walk. The hotel is very close to the Peage station of the autoroute. Our room actually faced the tollbooths, but I wasn't aware of noise and wasn't disturbed. I use Campanile hotels quite a lot as the parking is usually good, and it was good here, no problems at all/ It was searingly hot outside, but the A/C worked well. The restaurant was good, but you should also consider walking into town where there is a very good selection of places to eat and drink at all price levels.
Nice place for a night when u are "on your way" a bit noisy due to trafic but earplugs does the trick if u sleep light. Nice staff, good dinner and breakfast! The place goes into a lockdown at night so our motorbikes was safe and sound. Will be back 👍
Booked this hotel for a overnight stop for myself and family. Well what can I say but perfect. Very clean very modern . Receptionist very polite and helpful, McDonald's about 500 meters from hotel. Will stop again.
