Experience the charm of a historic XVIIIth-century château, originally designed by one of the architects of Versailles. This magnificent estate features a tree-lined avenue and beautifully manicured private gardens.

The ground floor boasts a grand double living room with a vaulted ceiling, supported by stone pillars, and a cozy open fireplace. Both the living room and dining room open onto a stunning, secluded garden filled with mature trees, making it the perfect spot for al fresco dining during the summer. From the garden, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the unspoiled countryside that gently slopes down to a nearby stream.

The spacious kitchen is ideal for culinary gatherings, equipped with two sinks, two refrigerators, and plenty of preparation space. A study filled with books offers internet access, and the shelves are lined with hundreds of books, DVDs, and CDs—mostly classical and opera—along with games and puzzles for children. The master bedroom is luxurious, while the three additional bedrooms, located on different levels, are more modest yet comfortable, all offering stunning views.

Amazing stay in stunning environment

We had a great time in this amazing place. Host was very nice and gave us good recommandation. The house was really clean, well-equipped and confortable. The place is just amazing. It is really worth seing. We stayed in the private garden most of the time and made a few visits around. Highly recommend this place!

Un séjour dans un petit château.

Le gîte donne vraiment le sentiment d'un séjour dans le château, la décoration avec les livres, les LP et CD avec leur musique classique laisse vous réposer au bord du forêt. Une cuisine assez grande pour donner une fête. Beaucoup à découvrir dans la région et n'oublie pas de visiter le village Hérisson. Merci à Pièrre-Mayeul et son papa! Riet, Favid et Véronique.
