The gorgeous view up on a hill overlooking a green river valley is enough all by itself, but there is also a cozy but roomy 3 bedroom cottage style home with a large deck, which usually has a cool breeze up on this hill. Perfect spot for morning coffee or for enjoying a drink in the evening with spectacular sunsets.
The deck in the back runs the entire length of the house complete with a propane grill. A well lit party area, with fire pit wood provided, allows for an enjoyable time under the stars while roasting some dogs over the flames and of course, you gotta
have s'mores.
The sock tank pool (8' across and 2' deep) not only adds country charm but a great place to cool off on a hot Texas summer day.
There is also a projection system to watch movies, etc. outside on a large screen. Outside games such as Jenga and bean bag toss (AKA: cornhole)
The 'party area' is complete with party lights to give a festive feel at night while viewing a movie outside.
If you need more sleeping facilities than can be provided in a 3 BR home, there is a RV space with hookups that is also available. If you are wanting to host a group for an outside gathering, let us know and we can provide tables, chairs, serving/warming trays, etc.

Gate is keypad entry as well as entry to home. A lot of room for your children and dog to run outside.
We provide a coffee bar with a variety of coffees and teas to start your day, and bottled water with snacks upon arrival. All areas of the house are yours to use, including a fully stocked Laundry Room.
When you are not mesmerized by the views and want to watch some TV, there are two TV's- one in living room and the other in the Master. Both are connected with equipped with 'Firestick" allowing you to watch your Netflix, Prime, etc. Want to watch a movie outside on the "Big Screen", you can do that too.
The "Old Mill", namesake of this town, is Chip and Jo's latest fixer-upper renovation used for Joanna's cooking shows Guided tours are available. The Old Mill and The Saw Mill, the fireplace mantel factory featured on Fixer Upper, are both located here in Valley Mills (1 mile away). And Magnolia Farms, the home of Chip and Joanna, is just 8 miles down Hwy 6. JDH Iron Designs where Jimmy Don creates his metal works featured in many of the Fixer-Upper shows is 6 miles the west
Clifton, known as the Norwegian Capitol of Texas, is only 11 miles north.
Like wine? The award winning Valley Mills vineyard and winery is just 1.4 miles and the Red Caboose winery is only 10 miles in Clifton.
And of course, Waco is just a quick 19 miles away.
