Apartment in traditional residential unit

The apartment is secure, functional and sufficient for a pleasant self catering trip to Valletta. It is located centrally at the lower end of the main thoroughfare in the city and proved to be a very convenient place to be. We had a little trouble in contacting the owners to confirm arrival but even though our plane was delayed we got into the apartment without a hitch on arrival. The property is spacious and the bedrooms are fit for purpose; as is the bathroom and dining area. The coolness of the interior as compared to the outside temperature took a little getting used to but did not cause a problem or detract from the holiday in any way.The bedroom on the left on entry is next to a club which plays music till late and may cause some people a problem.We could have used the other bedroom to the right but personally the effect was not massive. We encountered a dripping from the water heater when we used the hot water which fell on to a much used passageway between the kitchen area and bedroom / bathroom.. The property advertised a bag storage facility on check out which was not available to us meaning that we had some wasted time waiting for a missed appointment and needed to transport our cases around the town for the 3 hours until we caught our airport transfer.

The apartment was spacious, clean and in a really good condition. The only problem is that as it was located on the ground floor of a building, it was not ventilated, despite the existing windows. Adding that to the humidity of the area created a bit of an unpleasant atmosphere. There was a fan that kind of made things better, but it wasn't enough for the whole apartment. Probably adding a second fan for the other bedroom would improve the atmosphere. The location was excellent, right in the center of Valletta and close to many bars and restaurants. As for the service, it was not the best, as I spent most of my time there trying to contact them regarding a misunderstanding and they weren’t at all helpful.

Appartement vieillot sombre et très peu ressemblant aux images le tout dans un immeuble des plus vétustes. Avons dû attendre 30 minutes devant la porte en plein soleil que la personne arrive pour nous donner les clés. Celle ci avait apparemment oublié le rendez vous....
