This romantic and cozy Duplex Maisonette is found in one of Valletta's most popular areas. Forming part of a 300-year-old traditional house, this property is a true marriage between Maltese heritage and intimate feel. Staying at this property will certainly take you back in time since the house was built by the Knights of St. John themselves.

When you enter the property into the kitchen/dining area, you are immediately embraced with the traditional ceiling with wooden beams and the retro lighting, giving it a particular cozy feel. The modern kitchen with stainless steel top is fully equipped with anything one could need, from coffee machine to toaster, kettle, kitchen utensils and washing machine.

Accessible through a stone slab staircase, the very spacious bedroom on the upper floor has retained the original low ceilings and wooden beams. The romantic bedroom features a wide double bed, a wooden corner desk, air condition and leads to a typical Juliet balcony. Adjacent to the bedroom is a large walk-in shower.

The maisonette is surrounded by several chic coffee shops, Michelin star restaurants and museums. Booking this property will definitely be a special experience for any generation. Due to its location in the heart of Valletta's hustle and bustle, be prepared for the noise of such city life.

unromantic and bad

Description and pic made it look romantic and cosy. But staircase was steep twisting and had a lump out of top step which made it a lethal accident waiting to happen. The upstairs was cold and drafty and the only heater did not work.The shower was a dribble and the only toilet was down the lethal stairs. The bed was uncomfortably lumpy and had only the thinnest duvet i have ever experienced. The downstairs toilet was fine if you are under 5 foot tall or a contortionist otherwise near impossible. We shall not be trusting VRBO again

This is a very convenient property for a couple to explore Valletta and for eating out at a variety of restaurants. Access to buses and ferries is also good to explore Mdina, Sliema and Gozo.

Très petite maison bien située et bien équipée.

Mais pas de vraie salle de bains (pas de lavabo juste un lave mains dans les toilettes). Mauvaises odeurs des écoulements aussi bien dans les toilettes que dans la douche. Chambre très agréable. Quartier bien situé mais très bruyant.

Mitten in Valletta

Kleine, sehr wertig eingerichtete Ferienwohnung im Herzen von Valletta. Top Lage, Kommunikation mit Vermieter sehr gut, aber die Bilder im Inserat täuschen etwas. Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr klein und zum Teil niedrig und eng, was bei meiner Größe von knapp 2m etwas problematisch war. Alles in allem aber ein schöner Aufenthalt.
