A beautiful charming hotel in Courmayeur. All people are nice, friendly and so polite... a real beautiful hotel in a fantastic place! Go there..We strongly recommended. We spent our second night after wedding..we were so tired and we found this amazing hotel..the suite is simply perfect... we will come back for sure!
We arrived on a rainy afternoon with many complications for connecting a few days later to Geneva... not easy!!! The manager - Martino and New delightful intern - Alessandra , couldn't be nicer in helping. Countless calls to resolve details... car rental, shuttle arrangements to chamonix, possible bus connection. In addition to the exceptional customer service and cozy environment just out of the crowded city center in courmayeur, rooms are very pleasant and a few with balconies and great views!! Another plus, a very nice SPA. Details solved, we ordered a bottle of Morgex blanc " La Piagne" is fantastic!! And so nicely served with 2 different local specialites... with great jazz music, all great!!! What a experience!! Highly recommend to anyone!!
The cozy public salons, decorated in traditional style and colors, with fireplace adding to the charm, make this an intimate personal choice. Rooms on the upper floors face the mountain valley and the lovely typical slate roofs of Courmayer. Rooms are not huge, but large isn't important, rather attention to decor, colors and comfort. They fit this check list. When prices are competitive, this is really a lovely choice. Staff was lovely, attentive and extremely helpful. There is an elegant/formal yet comfortable restaurant. We only had risotto which didn't meet our personal tastes, but one dish does "not a restaurant make." The ambiance and service were outstanding.
Villa Novecento Romantic Hotel is really nice place to stay in. It is done in old style so you can feel like you stay in your grandmother house. From rooms there is beautiful view of Italian Alps. there is also good restaurant in the hotel.
Martino, the General Manager, goes the extra mile to make his guests stay as enjoyable as he can. We booked a hotel transfer, and he came to pick us up from Geneva with the hotel's driver & van, showed us the town (& a great sushi bar!) on arrival and took us back again in heavy Sunday evening traffic. Not the cheapest transfer but more personal. The hotel van also dropped us to the bottom of the ski lifts every morning. His warm and friendly hotel staff really made the stay for us. Sauna and jacuzzi area looks impressive but we didn't manage to try them out. Next time! Thanks for a super trip.
Very nice villa with spa and jacuzzi, quite different from your usual chalet hotel, 200m from Courmayeur center, not far from Montblanc cable car. The rooms are nice, the lounge and restaurant warm and welcoming and the breakfast is awesome. You can also park your car on the grounds, which is quite convenient. I just found it a bit on the expensive side (but we were there for the Xmas week end, which may be why). Overall a nice experience.
Despite the kindness of the staff I'm afraid the hotel cannot be classified as a 4 star hotel due to the lack of service that a 4 star must guarantees. For example many times we asked for room service and they were not able to provide it. I would say it's a good 3 stars
We stayed here for one night, towards the end of our TMB hike. The location is bit far from the town center, and part of the hotel is facing a busy (hence loud) road. It is a boutique hotel to start with, but they could use a bigger shower (or a hot tub) in the bathroom, also, a 20-ish inch computer monitor-turned TV isn't what I am thrilled about. But overall, the stay was pleasant. Also, they charged me 20 additional euros since I booked for a "single-person" room, but checked in with my wife. The bed is obviously large enough for two person though.
Beautiful rooms, good showers, mini fridge and free WiFi. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful. The location is a short walk to the center of town and nice shopping. Breakfast was good, not exceptional.
I stayed at the hotel for 5 days at the end of March 2016. I was going to the region for some outdoor fun. The hotel is located a 10 minute walk from where the buses stop at the base of the town. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel if walking the small distance to the hotel cannot be done. The hotel is 5 minutes from the main street, Via Roma. The hotel is gorgeous and has a classic wooden structure, even in the rooms. The rooms are spacious and have all the amenities. There are some fitness facilities, like a sauna, but I did not use any of them. They looked really nice, however. The standout at the hotel are the staff. They are really friendly and very helpful on activities, where to go, how to get around the area and restaurant recommendations. They went out of their way to help me and I had some good conversations with them (in Italian). I really love this place and would not stay any place other than this hotel next time I am in the area. In fact, this is one of the nicest hotel that feels like home I have stayed at throughout all my travels around the world. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel.
