We loved this hotel and will try to find a way to visit again. The PRIDE of the owners and staff is evident in all the details. We were amazed at this unique property and its situation in this charming community. So convenient to walk to the Skyway gondola to visit Monte Bianco. The restaurant was exquisite; both breakfast and dinner were a cherished memory! Just outside the numerous windows were exotic bird feeders, typical of the valley and cozy cottages. Our room was immaculately clean, with abundant wood, a cozy, sturdy, oversized twin third bed. It was so convenient for our adult daughter to stay with us. The beds were comfortable with top quality bedding. The bathroom was modern , with great water pressure, extremely clean and convenient with quality products of the alpine region. So many small details are attended to with great care and pride even the bartender Sergio makes his cocktails with a florish and pride. He was able to make us the Capp dell'amicizia coffee drink of flames in a wooden bowl! Plus his Genepi cocktails were inventive and delicious. The dining room staff always made us feel so welcome. The staff uniforms were a costume of neutral beige, tyrolean dirndl theme complimented by lots of dark green worn by the men. They looked exquisite! Parking was simple, in a lot just outside the main entrance as we had a van for five people. The mountain views from here are wonderful, the internet service was great. This is a charming, impeccable, place to visit! The only negative was the required prepayment and the strict cancelation policy which almost deterred me but I am so glad we booked and would go back again!
I stayed for 4 nights early September with a partner and then a friend. We each enjoyed the property and amenities immensely. We stayed in one of the rooms renovated in May I believe. It was perfectly decorated and very comfortable. We had 1/2 board also included and the restaurant was also delicious. Breakfast generous and also had fresh squeezed orange juice which is a weakness of mine. Something I hate to expect because I am usually disappointed. On top of the perfect setting and indoor outdoor pool etc, the staff really shined. From the front desk to the waiters and bartenders. Kind and remembered your preferences. I travel a lot and the service really stands out here.
We spent 3 gorgeous nights in the hotel while we were exploring the area , hiking and biking. the hotel is beautiful . the rooms are clean and spacious and everything is so nice decorated that it was pity to leave the hotel/ The service at the reception was kind and helpful. we highly recommend on this hotel, it is very close to Courmayer and the hotel privides shuttle to whome whe don't whant to drive there. and the last thing the breakfast was rich and tasty and together with the view of the Mont blanc it was perfect
My friend and I treated ourselves during out Tour Mont Blanc hike at this lovely hotel. The decor was totally charming - more like someone's private living room. Our room was very cozy, comfortable with high end linens, creative decor and sleek bath. The service was top notch as well. I enjoyed a quiet two hours in the spa and. dinner in the dining room was the best food I had during the 12 days of the hike. Incredibly reasonably priced for the level of service, decor and cuisine. I would definitely return to this hotel.
One of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. The views are breathtaking, the personnel is wonderfully kind and attentive. The spa is relaxing, with an incredible view of the mountains from the pool and lounge chairs. Sauna, steam room and relaxation room are all included. Massages are very reasonable. The rooms are beautifully furnished, with super comfortable beds. Breakfast is lovely and the gondola to Punta Helbronner is within walking distance. We could not have wished for a better stay. We can't wait to come back
A most charming hotel, loved my stay here. The staff is wonderfully attentive. The decor is warm and cosy, with quaint touches in every corner; no corner is like another. The breakfast is delicious, with a wide variety of fresh produce to chose from. Very nice toiletries provided. The staff go out of their way to help. The shuttle service into Courmayeur makes life quite convenient.
Thank you Auberge de la Maison for making our stay so memorable! The overall architectural design and interior decor of the rooms and general areas are indeed exceptional. We stayed for 4 nights in the suite, it is an absolutely stunning room with an amazing view of Mont Blanc and Glacier della Brenva. The staff were all attentive and friendly, they even put on a wonderful spread of nibbles in the afternoon next to the bar!! Rooms were well attended too and made up each day and turned down each evening, wonderful service. Facilities just so well kept and clean. The pool and sauna facilities were in use every day, there was even a water dump after you come out of the sauna if you wanted that cold plunge sensation!!! Spa and massage was fantastic after a day of hiking, we had a couples full body recovery massage which was well priced and worked wonders. Loved the grass chairs, nothing like sipping a local beer in the sun with the feel of grass on your feet whilst looking at the mountains in awe. I could write so much more about the hotel, but if you stay in Courmayeur, you must experience it for yourself, I will certainly be returning one day !!! Enjoy!!!
We visited this hotel for 9 nights during a trekking holiday around Monte Bianco. What a fabulous place from the moment you turn up, you are looked after. The staff on reception and the man who parked the car very helpful. The waiters in the restaurant very quick and attentive, plus many have a tale to tell or a fantastic walking route to give. The superior room was large with a good view of the mountains. Entreves is a beautiful quiet village even with the unnecessary infrastructure of the skyway and tunnel being close by, it doesn't detract from its charm. The spa is pleasant and clean with a steam room sauna and small jacuzzi type pool. Nice to relax in after a day's walking. The gym room is a bit sparse but if your there walking or skiing you probably don't need it. We had half board and I recommend this option, as the breakfast is delicious fresh local produce. The evening meal being at least four courses if you wish, with a good variety al a cart menu. Thank you to all at Auberge
This hotel is just adorable in every way and will be one of my favourites of all time. We have never been to this region before and we are not skiers so we just wanted somewhere peaceful with glorious scenery and great service. It ticked all those boxes and many many more. My family and I are very fussy and not always that easy to please when it comes to standards, quality and service. This hotel was the most welcoming, warm and embracing place to arrive. An eclectic mix of decor which worked brilliantly to give a perfect degree of comfort, privacy and homeliness in the best possible way. We loved that even the guests dogs are made welcome. The staff are number one in the list of great things to write about. From the reception to the bar to the restaurant to housekeeping and in fact everyone we met. Mikaela on reception looked after us prior to arrival with great e mail updates on our rooms and even the weather and she was superb during our stay helping us with everything we needed. Her colleagues were all terrific too. We had asked for rooms overlooking Mont Blanc and despite these being the most requested and not guaranteed the hotel were brilliant and gave us rooms with great views of Mont Blanc. With hindsight, while these were great, it is the side of the hotel that doesn't get sunshine and looks out over the road. Twice during the week the refuse collections came in the early hours of the morning near our room window which woke us up. There is a clock tower on this side of the hotel too and this chimes on the hour and half hour through the night so if you are on the other side of the hotel and over look the gardens you may not have these slight disruptions. Our rooms were great, the beds were very firm, our pillows unfortunately matched and it wasn't until our last night when I handed our feedback form in that the hotel said they had a selection available and soft feather pillows arrived instantly and were perfect. Lesson learned...just ask, nothing is too much trouble for this hotel. I asked for a kettle to make tea in my room and it was there straight away. There were slippers in the room, night cream sachets popped on your pillows during the evening. Big towelling dressing gowns, lovely toiletries. The towels were changed every day, bedding changed twice in the 5 nights we stayed. In the room there is a safe, hair dryer, TV with plenty of channels, lots of plug sockets, mirrors....all you need. Breakfast was great providing plenty of choice. The only cooked items are eggs but the wide selection of everything else is excellent. The views out over the mountain range and gardens was perfect while you ate. There are so many places to go and sit inside and outside that give you your own little space. We ate at the bar as well as in the restaurant. The food is exceptional, perfectly cooked and presented. They put on a small buffet in the bar area around 6pm which is wonderful as you are having your early evening drinks. They make to die for hot chocolate at the bar too. I had the most amazing massage with Marianna and as I've worked in that industry for many years I am more aware of what a good treatment should be. She was excellent and I wanted one every day after that. The Spa area was beautifully peaceful and very nicely designed. The whole hotel is spotlessly clean, I couldn't fault it in any way. There is ample free car parking, the location of the hotel was very easy to find and walking distance from the Monte Blanco Skyway which is an absolute must do activity. The village of Entreves is small, very pretty and has several restaurants to eat in if you want a change. The reception staff are happy to recommend where to go and even book a table for you. We travelled out each day to different places as there are plenty of options of things to do near by or a little further out. We adored our stay not just at the Auberge de la Maison but in this area of Italy and you simply could not find a more wonderful hotel to stay in. We will always remember our experience there with great fondness and hope to return again in the future. Thank you to all the team that make the hotel so very special....you should be very proud.
This was an amazing find as we were travelling through France and Italy to get Lake Garda. The village is peaceful and pretty, this hotel is quaint and served by traditionally dressed staff who are willing to please. Helpful that you can use the underground garage as the car park is small. The rooms are lovely, the reception are and restaurant very quaint with magnificent views. Book early and ask for a window table. The food is great too.
