The views are really breath-taking and the terraces are amazing. The reason for the 3 stars is what can only be described as sewer stench that permeates the entire house, especially penetrating in the master bedroom (lower floor), stairwell, dining room (upper floor). Even airing it out with all of the windows open did nothing to eradicate the intense Paris sewer smell. When I asked the property manager about it, she shrugged and told me, "it only happens when the wind hits just right". In reading back through other reviews, this has been an issue for a long time and the owner continues to ignore or downplay the extreme unpleasantness. If we weren't staying a short time, I would have moved to a different location. Also, we experienced power outages. Apparently, you can't use 3 burners and the washer and dryer at the same time. The master bathroom has ants and the tub is unusable due to lack of hot water plumbing to the tub. Don't forget the tourist tax of 1.10 euro in cash for those over 16 which we were not told about until late the night before our departure. The property manager was not very friendly and the owner was friendly via texting.

The property is magnificent. 5 stars. It was perfect for our family with three adult children. The grounds, terraces, bedrooms, all en suite, pool with outdoor kitchen and kitchen were equipped for maximum vacation relaxation. The views of the sunset were glorious. This is first property we’ve stayed in where the pictures don’t do it justice. The location was a good one for what we wanted to do. Check in was easy and there were no problems encountered during our stay. We especially liked the washer and separate dryer.

This is one of those stays you’ll always recall the feeling of being there overlooking the mountains and sea … from balconies, outdoor lounging & eating areas to the pool area you’ll have a hard time saying goodbye Was 4 of us , but could easily have been wonderful with 6….from start to finish just thrilled with every aspect of this villa, manager Halyna & the location near Valdemesso .Even enjoyed small hike in greater neighborhood with amazing views :)Hope to be back one day!

Hands down, the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. The views are even better than the photos! We couldn’t get enough of the scenery and sunsets. The pool, numerous patios and outdoor kitchen were all very clean and well maintained. It was absolutely magical on every level. The house itself was also beautiful and spotless. We were all very comfortable and had every amenity needed. The AC worked great, too! The house itself is a short, easy drive to Valldemossa. We really enjoyed being outside of town in such a beautiful spot, and hope to return again one day!

Absolutely amazing stay!

This place is like having your own paradise. Some days the family just wanted to stay at the house vs exploring the island. This place is a few minutes outside of of town, but that was what we loved. We were not in the craziness of all the busy places and traffic. Halyna the property manager was always responsive.

Beautiful villa and view

The villa is beautiful with amazing views. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Location is a short drive to the nearby towns. The villa is very well equipped with pretty much everything you need besides food, but there is a small grocery store nearby.

Incredible location

We had just gotten off a cruise and were hoping to be able to spend a few relaxing days on Mallorca. This home turned out to be perfect. It is very nice. The location is even better. It is in one of the prettiest places I have visited. The views are stunning. We could have easily never left the home and been very happy. However the best part is all of the wonderful spots we were able to visit that are a short drive away. Everywhere we visited on the coast was beautiful. As previous reviews have stated you almost don't want to let other people know how wonderful this home is. If I ever visit again I hope this home is available.

Save time, book now!

Villa Valldemossa is incredible. If it is available on your dates, just book it. You won't regret it. The setting is incredible with gorgeous views of the mountains and the sea. The house is well-equipped with A/Cs in every room and plenty of indoor and outdoor space to spread out. The pool area has a separate cooking/dining space as well. It is a 7-8 minute drive to the village of Valldemossa and no more than 35-40 minutes from Palma airport. Halyna was very helpful and responsive in helping us plan our visit. We also really appreciated the flexibility on check-in and check-out times. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Truly an incredible stay

Honestly I am hesitant to write this, because I don't want others to know how great this place is and what a great value it was for us. Beautiful architecturally, multiple terraces, high quality construction, amazing location high on the cliff overlooking the sea, direct view of the sea with no homes below, nice pool and pool area. Great location close to Valldemmosa and Deia. Fully functioning AC and washer/dryer, lots of small details like guide books, basic food/cooking supplies. Totally clean. The manager Halyna was outstanding with the initial meeting. More importantly, she picked up some auto fluid that our car needed and would not drive without, and late on a Sunday evening. Terrific in every way.

A Villa Worth Renting

We live in the hustle and bustle of the Washington, DC area, where traffic congestion and politics collide with incessant noise. For our 50th wedding anniversary, we decided to fly to Mallorca, Spain, a place we had last visited 45 years earlier. Surrounded by the blue-green waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Mallorca is truly one of the world’s precious treasures. Opting for a villa rental over a hotel stay, we researched various sites and settled on VRBO, where our attention went to several possibilities. There was one that continuously enthralled us, and eventually we committed to Villa Valldemossa. Villa Valldemossa is a sanctuary from cell phones, emails, and the life that comes from living constantly on the move. If you long to escape to a place of serenity, chirping birds, bleating wild goats, gorgeous sunsets over the calm Mediterranean Sea, you needn’t think twice about staying at Villa Valdemossa. The villa is beautifully situated against the mountainside, where mountain and sea views join together from just about every room to delight the viewer. Meticulously designed, the home is a masterwork of architecture, blending Mallorcan history in its turret-shaped living room that mimics medieval lookout towers dotting the coastline of the island. Inside is a well-kept, very clean home. The owner has given careful attention to decorating the villa, ensuring a comfortable home-away-from home experience for visitors. We highly recommend Villa Valldemossa.

Can’t Beat the View!

This property is stunning and was well equipped. The view of the Med and the mountains in a single frame is breathtaking. The pool was great. You really have an entire compound to yourself with main house, patios, various outdoor spots, the pool and outdoor kitchen. Simply amazing! Communication was great and check in/out was easy.

Fabulous clifftop views

The villa was clean and comfortable. It was spacious with plenty of different places to relax outside as well as inside. The clifftop location was stunning and the poolside kitchen and shower were an added bonus. You need a car to get into Valldemossa but there is plenty of parking available and it is a short drive. Our only minor problem was an unpleasant smell in one of the bedrooms and the accompanying ensuite bathroom. We would happily rent this villa again.

I could not ask for a better experience with our stay at Villa Valldemossa, my only wish is that I would have stayed even longer. Beautiful views and property, cool AC that worked well in the rooms during the heat wave, and easy timely communication checking in and out.
