Overall probably good value for money. Restaurant menu was limited and we did not eat in, instead going to the Buffalo Grill a 5 minute walk away. Service was friendly good, with drinks available for reception at a fair price. The standard double room was small, but the bed was comfortable. Self service breakfast was good. Generally the hotel was a little tired.

Ideal location to break your journey from southern France to the ports in northern France. Stayed a number of times & found the hotel as described, easy to find, ample parking, well located; near major road links, petrol stations & restaurants. Breakfast is nice too. Even has a larger pump behind reception!

Check in was a bit different. Was given a room key on entering the room already had people in there with suitcases on the bed. I then went back to reception and was ignored whilst some sort of argument went on with a French lady customer, then another French lady appeared to jump in in front of me. Eventually we were given another room which was very small, although I have to say the bed and pillows were very comfortable. No air conditioning in the room either.

It’s easy to get to, good parking, friendly front desk. Great en-route drop in when travelling and Alencon was a nice surprise, a lovely town. The hotel is a quick drive to the centre. My issue is that, and this hotel is not alone, when I book a room with 3 single beds, I need 3 single beds. If I could make do with a double and a single I would have huge choice but 3 singles is more difficult to find and I booked this hotel because it offered that. So when I turn up please don’t give me a double and a single. I was forced to book another room to accommodate my party.

Good for a stop over

Worked well for a stop over, nothing special but good value for what it is. Family rooms are two adjoining rooms which work well. Baby cot provided which was handy. Communication up until day of arrival ignored but on day of arrival very quick and helpful.
