My husband and I were surprised with a honeymoon in Valencia and we stayed at this gorgeous hotel. We are not used to such a posh place but the staff were very welcoming and friendly and even helped me when I got myself locked out of the pool room only in my swim wear! The room was gorgeous with an insanely comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom. Someone came in and tidied and made our bed everyday. The buffet breakfast was lovely with a huge range to choose from. The hotel in very close to the park that goes through the whole city.

We booked four nights in this hotel as it was recommended by my brother who stays here on business. It was the perfect location for us. A short 15 - 20 min stroll through the stunning park to the old town, just 5 mins from lovely local bars and restaurants, a 15 min stroll to the new architecture and a short taxi or bus ride to the beach. A taxi from the train station was less than €10 and a taxi to the airport was less than €20. Our room was really spacious and the air con worked very well throughout our stay. There was plenty of storage space and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a great shower, separate toilet and double sink. The room was perfectly cleaned every day. The rooftop pool is quite small but it was perfect for our requirements of lying relaxing for a few hours in the morning or evenings. It was open until 9pm at night which I thought was great. Although there are only a few loungers we managed to get one every day during our stay. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. When we arrived we arranged a late check out for €20 which meant we had the room until 2pm and were able to enjoy our last day without rushing around. On our second day the reception staff helped us to book a 48 hour ticket for the open top bus which I would definitely recommend. It was €19 and the stop is a few minutes' walk from the hotel. We did both full tours and then used the bus to take us to the beach and in to the old town. The buses always arrived on time and were a great way to see around. We didn't use the restaurant but had a drink in the bar most nights. It stayed open until 1am. The staff there were very friendly and by the second day remembered our drinks round and got them straightaway for us. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

The hotel is in a good location, especially for the fantastic restaurants around the Ruzafa area. However, apart from really nice big rooms and a comfy bed, there's nothing much about the hotel that makes it stand out and therefore we thought it was only OK. I can only imagine the hotel gets its 5 stars from what it has been historically, as now it is a little old and dated. Service on arrival wasn't particularly great, the rooms didn't have a kettle which was disappointing, the breakfast room is very unappealing and the food was OK - given that you can buy amazing pastries at any local bakery it was disappointing that they didn't serve any. WHilst he hotel has a pool, the area it is set in is extremely unappealing and one day the roof was closed - we asked for it to be opened as it was glorious sunshine and we were told 'no' as it was going to rain later (it didn't). That was disappointing and not 5 star service. The hotel sitting out area was pretty awful and full of ants. I wouldn't come back here again although there's nothing terribly wrong, it just isn't 5 star.

Excellent hotel, pleasant rooms with bath and shower, robes and all the amenities you would expect, bar, restaurant, conference rooms, business centre, pool, health spa etc. Very helpful staff. This is in a really good location being a short walk into the old city or about the same distance to the ultra modern arts complex to the South. Easily accessible also by the metro, either Alameda or Aragon stations are a short walk away. Over the road is the modern concert hall and the city's amazing linear park along the old river bed. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Very well located between city centre, the modern architecture and the beach. Highly professional and friendly service; very good snack bar for lunches, good breakfast. Clean and big rooms, very nice, modern bathroom. Only disappointment was the pool on the roof: view is not nice, too small and would need renovation. But we could do very well without it given the fantastic beaches. I highly recommend this hotel. We were offered early check in for free and late check out for only 50 €.

Valencia is superb but the hotel was dreadful. We were put into a room outside a building site with no air conditioning when we tried to improve the situation we were told that we would have to pay extra to get a room with a better outlook. It became a feature of the hotel that everything would cost extra including the tea and coffee making facilities that we thought we had paid for as every photo of every room showed a kettle. The staff whilst friendly were overwhelmingly dis-interested and on the last day they said they did'nt know that there was a taxi drivers strike and a number of guests were left without transport to their flights home. The breakfast was chaotic with a self service coffee machine that did'nt work to a very unhappy cook making omelettes that were inedible. This was wiithout doubt the worst five star hotel we have ever stayed at. In fact the room we were offered would not be good enough for a two star hotel.

A well positioned hotel to explore the sites of Valencia. Easy walking access to the restaurant and bar district and very close to the "hop on hop off bus" stop(s). A comfortable size room (large for European standards), with all the modern accessories, however the bed was a little uncomfortable. We were under the impression that the pool was open air by the website photos (it's in fact covered in and very chlorinated). And a little disappointed that the gym was being renovated and our room (403) was located 2 floors below this renovation (which impacted on our afternoon siestas due to the hammering and grinding noises).

On first site on arrival a bit disappointed, a real business hotel (which of course we knew when we booked it....) After the first day we started appreciating the location and hotel more and more...just pass the road and you are the Turia park.... After renting a bike at Verrassend Valencia (real Dutch bikes) even the 'old' town and beach were easy to reach. The pool is nice for you a swimm... the roof was still closed so not for relaxing. In our room the wifi had a weak signal but after checking at the reception they gave us an amplifier and that solved the issue. Very friendly personnel at the entrance, reception and the bar. So we were very pleased with the price/quality ratio for this hotel. We did not use the breakfast, we did it the Spanish way, go out and have a coffee and a decent lunch

The hotel was perfect from the check in to the check out, the staff were very helpful, the rooms clean light and had plenty of room with all the accessories you expect in a top hotel like this. The hotel is situated to suit every aspect of a trip to Valencia from the museums, parks, beaches and the city. The only slight downside was the building work going on opposite, my room was 248 so you need to request a room on the opposite side to this until the work next door is complete.

I enjoyed one night in this hotel. Staff very kind and helpful, room very comfortable with nice views, quite area, but easy walk to the city center and "La Ciudad de las Artes". Summing pool still covered.
