Big rooms and very kind staff. The hotel is well located next to a nice park where you can have a walk, the breakfast is nice and the rooms are huge. The only drawback is if you are having a room on the street side, you cannot open the windows at all as it is much too noisy
Comfortable hotel Staff superb and in great location. Spacious room Clean and comfortable. Did not have breakfast so can’t comment. Did have dinner in the hotel one night with family but food was very disappointing Tough calamari and tough steak, not what you would expect considering the price of the meal. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would certainly book this hotel again
Very nice and spacious rooms, nice bed, all clean and tidy. Bathroom. Luxurious and clean as well, spacious as well. Swimming pool could definitely have an upgrade, is outdated and could use some more luxurious look and feel. therefore 4 instead of 5 star rated. But other than that, we had a great stay!
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights over Las Fallas. The location is great - easy walking distance of the old city, but away from all the crowds and noise. The walk down to the Les Arts complex is delightful. Our room was beautifully appointed, very comfortable beds, with a safe, kettle and facilities to make tea/coffee, a well-stocked mini-bar. The bathroom was beautiful with 2 sinks and a glass sliding door to the toilet and bidet. The restaurant in the hotel is outstanding - fantastic food, great service and wonderful decor. The bar served excellent measures, and was good value for a high spec hotel like this. Every single member of staff we came into contact with was helpful, happy and so welcoming. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thank you SH Valencia Palace!!
This hotel was apparently the first 5 star hotel in Valencia and unfortunately it is now somewhat dated. Our room whilst reasonably was down a corridor which smelt of smoke and had a view over a side street used by noisy buses and some walls covered with graffiti . Even the porter who brought up our bags queried whether we were happy to stick with the room. The breakfast room was like an underground bunker with no natural light and the staff had the annoying habit of clearing away some of the food before the end of breakfast like all the jams. On the plus side the lobby was quite impressive as were the Reception staff And the snack bar in the lobby. Overall all though I would not choose to stay here again.
I travel a lot for business reasons to Valencia and I always choose SH if they have rooms available. I am particularly happy with the staff. Last time I traveled with my boss and initially they gave us rooms next to each other, but since I would have my boyfriend over from time to time, I asked them to change my room, for no apparent reason. The person at reception changed my room without asking any questions and was very discreet about it. The rooms are big and spacious and they are thoroughly cleaned every day. I recommend SH Valencia Palace to anyone looking for a nice and comfortable stay as well as very nice staff.
We upgraded our room to the only suite on the third floor. It has it's own elevator and outside sitting area. The room was amazing. Beds were comfortable and the shower had 6 sprays. Complimentary drinks and food in the mini bar. Very clean. The lower outside common area has lots of couches and umbrellas. A very good location and is within walking distance to everything. Make sure to get a room away from the road and not on the first floor.
Very average quality and over priced rates. Good location to the park and near some main streets. The bed in my room was old and make noise when moving- the mattress felt like plastic. Breakfast is below average
The room was of decent size but they had a few dustballs in the corners. I was pretty amused hence took a photo of them... i will post it if i could find it in my phone as my review is long overdue. Location of the hotel is not located in a touristy area. Hence it is easier to find a convenient store. The housekeeping never seem to give me any body lotion for the whole duration i was there. It is not a big deal but I assumed they only have body wash & shampoo. I went to a colleague's room and she had body lotion. She told me to take it if i need it as they replenish hers anyway. Breakfast is ok. I love that local Horchata drink is available at breakfast every morning. Something different that you get only in Valencia.
Good hotel, clean, tidy. Reception staff good, especially Juan Rosa! Sorry forgotten his surname, very helpful, very informative about city and places to visit and eat, exception member of staff. Shame we could not get a front hotel room, rear rooms overlooking a building site, suppose typical of booking .com to get the most rubbish of room outlooks, hotel on whole good would have been excellent if given a different room, the hotel certainly wasn’t full!!!!!
