My company had a conference in Valencia and we filled this hotel during the off-season. But the staff was a combination of aloof and disengaged. The front desk staff didn’t speak English, or pretended not to, especially when expressing frustration over the constant construction and jack hammering of tiles or similar material in the room next to us. We complained numerous times about the loud noise but were told the hotel was full. the construction was daily from 12N to 500P. I found it odd they would schedule renovations during a sold out period without blocking rooms adjacent to the construction. The restaurant staff was equally blasé. They sat us at a dirty table because they didn’t want us using a clean table while they had started breaking down the breakfast buffet. During one of the lunches in the banquet hall a server spilled a plate of food and utensils down my back while I was seated. I went upstairs to my room, changed shirts, and took the soiled shirt to the front desk. I asked them to clean it. They said they could give me something to clean it, and offered no apology or assistance. I told them I didn’t have time to clean it and it was the Hotel’s responsibility. They finally took the shirt and had it cleaned fo me. These are just a few examples where this hotel hasn’t really grasped proactive service or putting the customer first.
I had a very bad experience in this hotel. It started with the windows that could not be opened and I felt bad durinf the all stay. I asked to open at least during the cleaning but seemed to be not possible... Then somebody broke the car window in the parking behind the hotel and we needed to drive with a plastic bag during the all stay to cover the hole... It was not possible to have a fresh squeezed orange juice despite Valencia is the orange region! Finally we asked to have the check out the night before departure and the answer from reception was "not possible because we need to check if you used something from the minibar during the night" and had the check out at 04:30 a.m. I never listened something like this before!!! Sorry but my expectations from this Hotel Chain and employees working therr are much bigger than what received. We arrived in Valencia after Melia Alicante that has been a perfect stay....
Truly sorry for the late review! From start to finish this hotel met all our expectations and more! We stayed in 6 rooms b+b over the marathon weekend, the reception and bar staff were all friendly and approachable and the rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfasts were very good but the hot selection wasn’t hot only warm. The hop on/off bus stops right outside, taxis are around €8 into town and we also got the tram to the beach which is just around the back of the Congress centre (you can also get off at pont de fusta with a short walk to the cathedral) We ate in the bar and the burgers were second to none! If travelling to Valencia again I would most definitely stay here again, thank you melia ❤️
I have done reservation for 3 rum, 2 in my name( relaxation rum and junior suite) and one in my sister name( duple rum with view) Who arrived before us , we were surprised when we knew that my sister get our relaxation rum and we get the ordinary duple rum! The rum was very warm, the receptionist promised several times to send a mechanical to see the what was wrong with our air condition which never happened during our stay. We wished our staying in the hotel to be a dream holiday , but it was really disappointing in different way We have a bad experience in the gala dinner, because of different reason we wanted to eat a food which dose not included seafood or pork , we get non eatable soup instead, When we protested for it , we get under cooked tuna which was awful. Clean rum , great location
Hotel is quite new. Rooms are really spacious and quality of service and cleaning is excellent. it is located close to congress palace, with bus 99 (taking to acquarious) and 62 (taking to city centre) stopping in front of it. Subway (Beniferri), located at 400 mts.
Enjoyed a very well prepared Gala Dinner on the New Year's Eve. Outstanding menu, high class service and staff. Congratulations! Very clean and spacious rooms, clean linen, excelent service and staff. Hop on -Hop Off touristic bus has a station in front of the hotel. Not far from downtown (Cathedral and Generalidat). Accesibile by metro and cab (around 10 Euros a trip). The breakfast must be improved: except coffe/Tea, everything is cold (fried Eggs included).
I visited this hotel with friends over the Christmas and new year period. The hotel and complex is very large and well equipped with two golf courses. Service was generally good the heated outside pool came in handy at that time of year. Rooms were quite large clean but perhaps needed updating. The views over the course and across to benedorm were lovely. As the hotel is approximately 4 to 5 kilometres outside of benedorm a car is needed. Getting taxis everyday is expensive. The spa and gym are very good and well equipped although the gym is free to use the spa facilities are 25 euros a day. At the time of year we visited a lot of the facilities especially the restaurants were closed. Overall this is a nice place to stay staff were helpful and very pleasant. My only criticism was the standard of the food. There was a good choice of breakfast although in my opinion the quality particularly of the pastries and cakes was poor.we used the Italian restaurant on site this was very average and the buffet in the evening was also average. Food was generally cold. Overall I enjoyed my stay the main golf course is of a good standard and generally the resort is good.
Clean rooms, clean bed sheets. Hotel is well located just a few steps away from Plaza del Ayuntamiento, Plaza de la Reina, and you can reach paseo marítimo by bus, almost any route will take you there. Bad side, they don’t even offer you complimentary water. Staff was friendly and help us with our bags after check out time.
This is a great hotel to put up in Valencia. The room was spacious, clean, well decorated and attention has been paid to every detail. Rooms have coffee tea facility too. Gym is reasonably equipped and has free towels, water facility. Hotel has cycle hire facility too. Close to many restaurants and supermarket. About 5 km from the city centre, we enjoyed walking and admiring grear architecture of Valencia.
Quite a nice hotel and we spend one night at this hotel while visiting Valencia. The receptionist is friendly and we enjoyed staying in this hotel even though it is a short stay. The breakfast is quite ok (western style).
