A mass market hotel distant from city center. Nice reception staff. The room was huge and very well in confort. Good quality sleep. Bathroom was also well equiped. The breakfast was served in a big room with a reasonable variety of food.

The hotel is nearby the center but having a car helps you a lot. Melissa never disappoints the customer. The rooms are clean, well furnished and have anything a travelers need when far away from home. They offer parking but there is plenty rooms nearby. Excellent breakfast Muy chulo!!!!!!

Good quality, good service. Nice big room. 10 minute walk to the metro (Beniferri) to go to the center. 2 minute walk to Casino Cirsa Valencia which is open till 5 am every day. Lots of international restaurants nearby, and a supermarket (Consum) next to the metro station. The Melia is a former Hilton hotel and has a nice atmosphere. Advantage of staying in this hotel instead of the city center is the fact that the rooms are much bigger. I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels in the center as well, but the rooms are really small.

Stayed in this very tall hotel. Beautiful views from the large windows in our room. Breakfast in the morning, had lots to choose from. Had a suite very comfortable, lots of room. Staff very polite and helpful. Cleaners everyday. Would go again.

Usually I am not commenting on chain hotels of international standard since many times they offer what could be expected - professional, no more, no less. The Melia though deserves a note. It is a modern hotel but being on the 26th floor and having a room with a view was special. The rooms are quite, spacious , very comfortable, the beds excellent and the bathrooms just top. The breakfast buffet of very good quality and the restaurant - although accepting larger groups - comfortable and offering enough privacy. While being there by car we appreciated the opportunity having a garage and visited calmy the city of Valencia by metro. No stress...... In the same street are plenty of restaurants offering a good and stylish variety. Thus all together a good reason to stay outside the city center.

Pro: - big room and bathroom - very good breakfast - nice views from upper floors - open elevator Cons - not a very cheap choice - no slippers - some minor maintanance to shower mixer - location might be a problem for travelers who want to be close to city center

I was told about this hotel by my partner, I was actually looking for a hotel close to the main train station& thought this one was too far out, however this wasn't the case. Yes, its towards the north of the city, but transport links make it very easy to get to. There is multiple bus stops around, including 1 right across the road from the hotel& you have either Beniferri metro stop around a 5min walk away, or Palau de Congressos tram stop around 3-5min walk away. I loved it here, the neighbourhood is very quiet, but lively with bar& eateries. The hotel is huge, one of the biggest buildings in the city I'm sure, & inside is beautiful! We were able to check in early as our room was prepared which was great news having been up from before 4am, and the staff at reception were very friendly& helpful, giving us a lot of information on the hotel. We had a Melia guestroom, which was pretty big. We were on the 9th floor, room 907, & had awesome views from the window towards the mountains, I would really have loved being on the other side looking towards the city, I bet its stunning! The room had a double bed, desk, TV, relax chair, cupboard, aswell as amenities like a kettle, iron& board, mini fridge etc. The bathroom was lovely, striking walk in shower with a bath& large vanity mirror, & the room was kept tidy everyday by housekeeping, thank you to them! 1 problem we had was with the heat, the windows don't open& we weren't sure if our air con was working properly, we did have it to the coldest setting all trip, but was still really warm. I used the gym facilities once& it was good. There are plenty of dumbbells, medicine balls, bench& a machine that can allow multiple exercises, aswell as a bike, treadmill& elliptical machine for cardio. There is a water dispenser here too to keep refreshed. I didn't use the hydrotherapy facilities so I cannot comment on that. We had breakfast once, on the final day, & it was really delicious. There is loads to choose from, cereals, meats, pastries, juices etc, & its in a large seating area which I think, is also the restaurant. I would recommend having breakfast at least once! I didn't visit the restaurant during the day or the bar area while I was staying but they looked really nice. Overall, considering I didn't even look at this hotel& was putting it off because of the distance away from the main train station, I nearly missed out on a fantastic hotel! We were around 40 - 45min or less from Airport to Hotel & it was a stress free, relaxing stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Valencia!

A great location My room overlooked the harbour and was very nice and quiet The facilities at the hotel are very good The staff were pleasant and welcoming The room was modern and had all the facilities that you would expect

Stayed here for 3 nights B &B the room was a good size with a small balcony overlooking the fountains. There was a marathon on while we were there which we had a good view of. There is no kettle but a coffee maker in the room but you can ring for hot water and nothing is Any trouble for the staff. The breakfast is like a fast food cafe. The staff simply fill up anything as it is used but there is no personal service. No one greets you at breakfast and asks if you would like tea or coffee or even acknowledges you. You just take your cup and fill it yourself. A bit like a travel lodge. Pastries cheese bread. I asked for two poached eggs and was pointed towards the boiled eggs. I said no poached. I was brought 2 boiled eggs. The fried eggs and bacon are not refreshed until there are none left. They can sit there if there is one left, cold and swimming in fat. This is not Melia standard food. For this reason I wouldn’t return. Book the Hotel but not the breakfast. We ate our breakfast out on the third day. Good location though. There are many hotels nearby which are less expensive and there are lots of places to have a good breakfast but not here. Disappointed with Melia.

On the positive side of things (which outweigh the negative) nice staff, quiet rooms and excellent breakfast and wifi...and our room was ready early for check in. Negatives are it is quite a long way out of town although the metro is nearby, it was quite expensive when we booked, no hot water in our room during high demand periods, and as others have noted the statement it has a spa and pool is not correct. This is a separate area for which you have to pay albeit contained within the building.
