This hotel is in a very good position with views over the beautiful beach in Gandia. We paid a very good price for bed and breakfast and with this booking we could purchase lunch or dinner for just over €6 each. Fantastic value.

We booked this hotel and found it as expected. We have been given a room on the 8 th floor with great sea views. The beds are very comfortable my only complaint would be we wanted a double bed and got 2 singles . The food is good and plenty of choices. Buffet style dining which I like . Really handy for the beach definitely a great choice.

I've booked this hotel as I wanted something close to the beach that did not cost too much, and with a young child I was not sure I would have used the amenities of the more expensive hotels. I've stayed for just a week and for my needs this place was perfect. It felt really safe and everyone working there was quite nice and helpful and always smiling. Parking was available outside the hotel for free, there is a huge car park at walking distance (a couple of minutes) just be aware that there is a club and on Friday night it gets quite busy with people that roam around the cars drinking and having fun. I was given a corner room, which came with a huge window (although the black out curtains did a pretty good job in the morning) and a jacuzzi. There was a fridge for our water and we have asked for the safe for an optional fee. There was also a balcony viewing the sea which was a plus. If I had to improve something, I would probably put a child lock on the sliding doors for peace of mind. The beach is at walking distance (a couple of minutes) and it was very well kept and felt safe for my son, as there were also lifeguards on duty and police regularly patrolling it with quads. There are showers available too, should you need them, the pool is small but you really do not mind because of the beach so close. If you fancy it, there is also a SPA with a Jacuzzi and a Sauna, which you can reserve for a small fee. The hotel buffet is very convenient and it is quite good for the price, if you don't want to spend too much and still eat a proper meal, it is worth considering it (especially at lunch time). Breakfast are good and there is plenty for everyone. There are also some rather good restaurants around. All together I think it is a good hotel and wouldn't mind going back. I wish there was a miniclub for the kids, but the hotel staff would do some animation for them in the evening and the lady who did it seemed to really enjoy playing with the children. So if you have kids and you want tranquillity is a great place to stay, location is perfect and the price is reasonable. Probably not the best if you want to go drinking and clubbing, but great for families.

Was our first visit to Gandia and this hotel. Receptionist very helpful and room spacious with balcony with sea views and a lovely bathroom with a full size bath. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel both with plenty of choice and food fresh and edible. The hotel is situated right near to beach. We parked very near to the hotel as was out of season so plenty of spaces.

I stayed 6 nights in a seaview room period 06.11-13.11.2016 .The staff was very nice and helped us every time .The food was very good and the waiters very nice. All the receptionists were very helpful. The hotel has a small spa and we rent for a nominal fee.The wifi conection was ok .We park the car near the hotel, everything was ok.We thank RH Gijon Hotel for services and for a great holiday!!!Best regards, Raluca

Staff extremely helpful. Although small, rooms adequate and spotless. Location fab. An all round, good three star hotel with a decent breakfast. Nice roof top terrace. I like the R.H. hotel chain and would definitely stay in one of their hotels again.

we telephoned reception to say we were delayed and would not be able to make in time for dinner as we had booked H/B, the receptionist was very helpful and arranged for food to be kept after restaurant was closed, we were very impressed with this, also the staff from the Bar and restaurant gave the same excellent service, very polite, and attentive, the guests were mostly Spanish, thats what we expected, all very friendly, the hotel room was also very comfortable and clean, good size chambermaid kept clean every day, the view was very good from balcony to the sea we stayed in their sister Hotel with 5 star 3 months before, and can honestly say this is just as good well done to all the staff and we thank you all for the lovely hoilday we had, we will definetly be back again Barbara and Ahmed Bicane

I stayed in this hotel for three nights and got very good value for money. I had a room on the 9th floor with a terrace and seaview. Rooms was ample, bathroom a bit on the smallish side. Normal breakfast buffet, but you had to pay extra for fresh juice (in La Safor ) ! There is a small spa which you can rent privately for a nominal fee. Service was excellent and very friendly, good wifi connection. Beware that this hotel is not on the Paseo Maritim bit in second line from the beach. Parking was not a problem in one of the side Streets.

Hotel is located one street behind the boardwalk and beach. Gandia is a lovely resort area, frequented mostly by locals and few foreigners. We stayed 4 nights in early October, our room on the 2nd floor had windows all around with balcony and partial sea view. It was spacious, very clean comfortable with twin beds and modern bathroom facilities, including room fridge but room safe an extra 2 Euros. Indoor parking available at 12 Euros, challenging unless you drive a Smart car but plenty of free street parking available. Good buffet breakfast with sufficient choice of cold, warm, fruits, cheeses, cold cuts and sweets. Staff very friendly and helpful, albeit limited English. Great hotel, near beach and boardwalk with lots of eateries and shops. The old town of Gandia with the Borgia palace are a short drive away and many other interesting towns nearby. Hotel has a Spa, hot tubs and Swimming Pools as well as some nightly entertainment. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to see the real Spain rather than the usual tourist resorts.

Visited 27th Sept to 2nd October,on leisure break.Hadn,t been to the area before and wanted a bit of sun and relaxation before the winter sets in.Gandia is in three sections, the town the port and the beach area. The hotel is in a good location a road back from the the beach. All three areas are linked by a very good bus service which stops at both rail stations as well as main locations. The port and beach area are adjacent, so walking these is easy and the wide safe promenade is excellent. We had an 11th floor balcony room with great view out to sea.Room good size, clean, beds very comfortable and shower good too. Staff friendly and helpful. We had booked half board, and were advised that we could take the lunch instead of evening meal if we wished.Opted for the latter, but this proved a bit tricky for us.The evening meal was available 20.30 to 22.30 which is the time the natives tend to eat but perhaps a bit late for us.We found ourselves wanting an mid afternoon snack(3-4pm) when out,but all the eateries were shut for siesta!.Not end of the world though. Food at the hotel was good and plentiful, drinks reasonably priced too. Bit disappointed that the rooftop terrace/bar shut for the season as this was shown in hotel snaps with no notice of its unavailability. This was not in isolation,as the large RH hotel next door also looked as if it had this rooftop facility, and not in use. Pools were moderate size close to building side and front entrance.Possibly due to the time of season the sun did not seem to shine on either for long during our stay.Again not the end of the world,as beach is huge, clean and quiet due to the time of year, and pool to the other RH hotel next door was in a sunny beachfront position !! Overall a good value break in good hotel.Shame the weather was uncharacteristally wet and stormy on a couple of days/nights. Travel Note.Didn,t drive during the break.Used Metro from Valencia Aiport to city, easy and cheap.A minute walk up to Valencia Nord rail station.Cheap, regular trains (1 hour trip) to Gandia town or irregular train to Gandia port station.Gandia town station approx 3 miles to the beach area. Also used bus to visit Oliva coastal area.Lovely, but be prepared for a hike from Oliva town. Worth it for a quite lovely spot, well it was on 1st October.
