The hotel was as expected. Rooms were nice and clean, the location was good for the beach and near public transport. Staff could have been a bit friendlier but I don't speak any Spanish so really can't complain. It's a shame they don't have a pool but otherwise a great hotel.
What a great location! The beach is literally around the corner, and the Paseo Neptuno is an area with bars, restaurants and boutique shops. The rooms at Hotel Neptuno are bright, clean, and stocked with helpful amenities, like a white spa robe and slippers. There is indeed a spa up on the roof, with great views of the beach and the Mediterranean. The concierge staff speak excellent English and are quite helpful. Underground parking is available, and you will want to use it, as Valencia is easier to see via local bus or cab. While you are staying at the hotel, I'd avoid the bar. There were two guys tending bar, few customers, and they simply ignored us. Silly, since so many other choices are available nearby. Valencia is a sunny city, and most people are friendly.
This hotel is very nice. We had a big room with a view of the beach. It had a little living room area with a sofa bed and a curtain that separates the actual bed area from the living room. You can keep it open or close it, it was 3 girls in one room so it was nice to be able to give the other person a little privacy. Curtain only covers half the room tho. Everything was clean, shower was great! It had a jet tub and a separate shower. It was pretty big. Overall the room and hotel grounds are very nice. Breakfast the next morning was great too except that we thought it was included lol. No biggie tho, it was about $16-17 euros pp for an open buffet that had quite a few different selections. Keep in mind, breakfast closes at 11:00am. You can still sit and eat past 11 tho, we did and didn't get kicked out. We tried going to the hot tub on the rooftop but I think it closes at 8pm so we weren't able go. We ended up using the jacuzzi downstairs by the gym which closes at I think 10pm, but it wasn't that great. Water should have been hotter and there is no pressure for your back. I have to admit also that one of the housekeeping lady's had a slight attitude. Not too friendly although the front desk was. This hotel is close to a lot of diff places, about 15-20 min to train station, 20 maybe 25 min to airport, 15 minutes or so to the old part of the city. We were only there for 2 days but I really did like the hotel, I would stay here again.
The hotel is clean and efficient. Staff are friendly. The breakfast is fine, but be sure to either book it with your room (the booking site we used didn't offer room and breakfast, just breakfast) or tell them you want it included with your room when you first arrived. I asked about having breakfast when we first arrived and was told to just ask for it each morning in the restaurant - if you do this it will cost you 33% more than booking it as part of the room booking. We managed to change the arrangement after 2 days, but still paid the expensive price for the first two days. It was probably a mistake/misunderstanding and I would still recommend the hotel as a good place to stay. Right on the beach and it's possible to walk to the city and the Science Park if you like walking, or a taxi is only 10 euro. There are some fabulous museums, galleries, etc. 5 minutes walk from the Neptuno is a Rice Museum, never thought I would visit such a place but in fact it was interesting, and the staff there very, very helpful and informative. Lots of restaurants to eat in the evening. We didn't eat at the Neptuno so can't advise, but lots of other good choices around the corner overlooking the beach/sea.
This was our first trip to Valencia and I booked this hotel on Tripadvisors recommendations. It is in a prime location at the end of the promenade right on the beach and opposite the marina. The beach is beautiful, very wide and safe. In the area there are plenty of restaurants and cool roof top bars. If you get fed up with the beach, the tram and bus stops are just over the road to take you straight into the old town, or there are loads of taxis outside which cost around €10. The hotel offers parking in the underground car park for €20 per day. We didn't eat in the restaurant because there were so many buzzy places on the promenade and we fancied a walk, but breakfast was good. The television in the rooms is supposed to have English tv channels , BBC 1 and 2, ITV1 and2 and children's channel. We couldn't get any of them to work, I asked at reception and she said she'd send someone to have a look, but no one came. It didn't bother us, but it would have been nice to catch up on the news. All in all, I think this is the best hotel on the beach and would highly recommend it.
Visited with our family and have to say the rooms were both very nice and clean and found the buffet breakfast to be very extensive and lovely too. The hotel is located right on the beach and is in a beautiful location. The tram literally is across the road which hooks up with the metro 3 stops down. Would definitely return and recommend here highly.
A great hotel in the old port of Valencia. The hotel was very clean, and overlooking the beach,. The rooms were good. The rood terrace with Jacuzzi was an added bonus and a great place to chill out at the end of the day. The staff were polite and fairly knowledgeable I'd definitely go back again!.
great location at the beach and close to the port. Public transportation easy to reach, Tram station about 100 meters. Nice roof terrace with great view to the beach and the port. Friendly staff. Close to very nice restaurants.
Booked a 4 night stay. Hotel right on the beach. Great decor, welcoming friendly staff. Great travel links to the city centre. Hotel room great - we had a sea view. Huge shower and great toiletries provided. Bed super - huge and comfy. TV was great British channels - nice touch when you return from the evening out. Breakfast was varied and very nice. The solarium on the roof was great for relaxing after a long day with a Jacuzzi. Nice peaceful area. Staff were always helpful and polite. Overall this was a great stay and would return for location and service. I couldn't fault anything.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night. We liked the hotel, the room was beautiful! We were out sight seeing most of the day but we did have dinner in the restaurant/bar area which looks at the boardwalk and beach. We ordered the Seafood Paella which was delicious!! We unfortunately didn't get to take advantage of the rooftop terrace but we checked it out in the morning before we departed and I would recommend other guests spend time up there! Great price as well
