Small boutique Hotel centrally located , very average , good for 2 nights or so ,breakfast buffet also very limited , very close to the park , service is good too , staff is friendly , they don't have a porter is this hotel .
Although I have a good stay in the hotel, I expected more of it. We have the júnior suite, which has a good size and decoration. The problem was more in the cleaning. We spotted some hairs in the sofa, the windows were so dirty that we couldn't see much of the nice view..We requested to clean the windows, which was done in the following day. During the time I was in the gym, I killed a cockroach and informed it to the reception, so they are aware. I was a bit disappointed with the reception as well. They weren't aware of what was going on in the city, weren't able to give tips.. We asked on Saturday if was going to have something in the Ayuntamiento, and they didn't know.. we asked if there was some festival or something in the city and they also didn't know. We discovered by accident, that it was having a nice food truck festival with 2 music stages and a DJ area happening in a park and that there was another market with live music in the Ayuntamiento.. luckily we could enjoy those 2 places, but not with the support of the concierge.. Anyway, I'd go back for the breakfast and the location, something the hotel has to be happy of.
We stayed for 3 days in May and it is a very nice hotel. the rooms are a good size, good bathroom and food and drinks reasonably priced for a hotel. The staff were also very helpful and we found the location first class for touring the old city.
Rooms are very good. Breakfast is very good as well. Enjoyed my hotel stay and Valencia very much. The location is perfect. Jardin del turia is just around the corner. Lots of cafes and restaurants are around the hotel. You can walk to plaza del reina in 15 minutes.
Location was very good for getting to the centre and the Oceanarium. Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean and spacious with plenty of storage. There are lots of restaurants and fashion shops in the area which was also safe and vibrant at night.
Good, room and helpful staff, eat breakfast locally, much cheaper. Very good location for the central park access and the old city centre. The underground car park adjacent to the hotel is reasonably priced and secure
This is the third time I have stayed at the Dimar and I have never been disappointed. A few minutes' walk away from the hub of the city but still near some fantastic restaurants the Dimar is a small hotel, perfectly situated and excellent value for money. The rooms are modern, stylish and spacious (the bathrooms are an excellent size) and always cleaned to perfection. The staff are warm and friendly. There is a small bar and food area where the prices are cheap and the atmosphere is relaxed. On any future occasion I visit Valencia I would never consider staying anywhere else. The Dimar is an excellent hotel
Hotel just located outside the city center at acceptable distance of historical center. Facilities of hotel are excellent, very clean. Excellant breakfast. We hired bikes to easily reach other side of city center and nice tours through the Turia Park and to the beach. Appeared hotel also had bike rent service which we had not noticed on the site. Staff is friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel is modern with a business look, not exactly our taste but of minor importance. Price / quality is ok. Would certainly recommand the hotel.
Very good location, near to the city center and the dry river Turia. Walking distance to the City of Science located in the bed of the river Turia. Big room with big bathroom. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful. Bike rental in the hotel.
The room was hot and muggy as soon as we stepped inside. We went downstairs and asked why the A/C would not come on. They told us A/C is only available during certain months and there is no way they can unlock the thermostat. This is complete BS since they locked it.. it can be unlocked. A/C is a big deal to me. There are other hotels in the area that were cheaper, but did not have A/C so we opted to spend more for Hotel Dimar since they say the rooms have A/C on their website. This is false advertising. The temperature outside was in the mid 80s during the day and the room was unbearable. So we left the window open all night (you can only crack the window about 3"), which helped, but by now you have bugs getting into the room and it's very noisy at night so my wife and I got hardly any sleep. TV was small and the volume would not go above 50, so with the noise outside due to the window having to be open made it almost impossible to even watch TV. We stayed in Spain for 2 weeks in various cities, had a great time, but this hotel was by far the WORST experience. So glad we only reserved one night. We will not be returning to this establishment. So to be fair, the hotel was clean, the shower worked fine, and the location was pretty darned good. My major complaint was the false advertising on the A/C and the inability for the employees to help out a customer who made a simple request.
