Good things first - within 30 minutes walking distance to the city center, within 5 minutes to the Turia river bed. I was expecting more, but no restaurant and breakfast - although for Spanisch conditions good - I had better in Spain and in Valencia. However, sleeping comfort was good (in case you like hard bedding). The walls are thinish, the room facing the street has a certain level of street noise that gets through.

The hotel was centrally located and within walking distance of restaurants and bars. There was buffet breakfast which had plenty of choice. The room was on the courtyard side which we requested. It was cleaned every day. The only issue we had was there wasn't really any English speaking channels. Not even BBC News.

We drove a hire car from Alicante and the location of this hotel is very good approaching from that direction. There is a car park next door for 15Euros per day. 10 to 15 minutes walk gets you to he centre of town. In the vicinity are plenty of places to eat. The Mercado Colon close by is excellent for a pre meal drink. Be aware that Valencia hides its Tourist Office. There is no obvious sign outside but it is located on Paz at the end furthest from the Cathedral. There is also one at the Town Hall but we were there during Fallero so that one was closed.

Disappointing room service menu : no burgers or proper food, mostly sushi (and tons of it - why?-Im in Spain!) ..with a minimum order of 15 Euros, with most dishes being max 12 euro's and no drinks to max up to the 15 euros benchmark - thus entirely discriminates against solo people. Room is nice ..large, good bed, fairly quiet. Room insulation not very good - plenty of water draining away sounds from other rooms, people chatting, dogs barking, an ENDLESSLY screaming brat, firecrackers/ fireworks being set off in the neighbourhood (NB Valencians are obsessed with this, google it - 2 weeks before the Fallas festival, but they Love it!). Overall though, I'd highly recommend staying here ..I liked the staff, its a great location and MOST of the time my room was beautifully peaceful (no ear plugs needed is always the full recognition of that). They also rent bicycles, which is cool.

I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2018. The hotel is very conveniently situated a short walk from the Xativa Metro Stop. This is situated in the dry riverbed which is now a running/cycling track and park. The airport has an escalator that leads straight down to the Metro Station. English language can be selected at the ticket machines which are dead easy to use. One person can travel all zones for less than €5. The train is clean and doesn’t get packed like the London Underground. It takes 30 mins to get to the Xativer stop. Climb the steps out of the station and turn right under the bridge overhead. The walk will take no more than 5/10 minutes and when you pop up on street level (up a ramp to your right) you simply cross the main Road at the pelican crossing and make a 2 minute walk to the front of the hotel. The hotel staff were helpful and we were very impressed with room 707. It is quiet because it looks out into a courtyard of residential flats, so no passing traffic. Ask for a room with courtyard view (it’s not the view you’re after, it’s the quiet). The bed is HUGE. Like a Super Super King! The bathroom has a powerful shower over the bath. The hotel provides ample toiletries. No need to bring shampoo, shower gel, body lotion or even toothbrushes/toothpaste. The towels are replaced daily. The rooms are immaculate. We didn’t eat at the hotel because you literally have dozens of eateries all around providing great meals. Be warned that Gordon’s restaurant is rated number 1 on Trip Advisor and you MUST pre-book. We watched many hopeful customers turned away because it was fully booked. There are 2 great steak restaurants within a short walk too. They also need pre-booking. Location is the big selling point and the Old Town is within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Hotel Dimar stands on a nice block with some nice bars and eateries around it . Nicely situated, and a 5 minute walk from the metro, nearby the gorgeous paths and gardens of Valencia, the hotel has a clean and modern feel to it. The rooms and bathroom are spacious and bright and there is plenty of wardrobe space along with an iron and ironing board. The breakfast has to be one of the best, hottest and varied in this region. The staff were polite and helpful and I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Valencia . One final worthwhile mention was a bar which is a 2 minute walk around the corner called Sanremo. This friendly family run bar was the perfect wind-down. The staff were fantastic and I felt at home. Definitely worth a visit

Excellent location, room was very spacious, balcony had a nice view of the main street and neighborhood. Very helpful staff, taxi stand just around the corner making trips to the Fair very simple. Easy 5 minutes walk to the Mercato.

A pitty. We are coming about 4 times a Yes-R to Hotel Dimar. We always make online reservation with a parking place. We think it is automaticly known bybthe hotel that we want to reserve with a parking. But that is not the matter...

There were 7 of us in 4 rooms for three nights. We were on the 4th floor and it was very quiet. We had an internal view that was just of buildings but we didn't care. Everything was perfect : nice staff, very clean, big rooms and big bathrooms with tubs. Strong Wi-Fi signal, little gym and sauna, huge beds etc. The best part was breakfast. Totally worth it. The location was great too. Near historical center, nest the river parks, in a lively neighborhood with restaurants, 10 mins from Colon metro stop which goes to the airport. We took taxis to the beach and aquarium because with 7 of us, 2 cabs were cheap than the bus (eur 6 each). Really can't recommend it enough

Nice hotel and good breakfast. Staff that is ready to solve any problems. Not far from city center and warm environment. Very good deal, close to good restaurants and easy to reach. Clean and what you expected for 4* hotel.
