Excellent location, although when you haven’t for your bearings at first you are wondering where you are! Just 5 min walk from Central Market. Taxi’s passing by the front door regularly. Check in was simple and uncomplicated. Very nicely greeted. 2 bedroom apartment was spacious enough and facilities sufficient for our 10 day stay. Cleaned well with extra bedding. Washing machine with washing line on sunny balcony so easy to dry washing. Very quiet at night and early morning despite the number of restaurants on neighbouring streets. Safe and secure entry. Out apartment was on the 4th floor. Elevator available. Nothing to fault for a very affordable holiday stay.

There were bedbugs in the room. We had been bitten by the bedbugs hundreds of times leaving us red rashes all over the arms and legs, even on the face. We had unbearable itchiness and the marks and scars took months to recover. We tried many times to contact them to claim compensation, the hotel completely ignored!!! They didn't answer the phone or replied emails.

Unable to check in until 4pm and they were not impressed that we wanted to leave our luggage. Walked around for 5hrs not happy to be informed on return that our appointment is another 5mins away. The lanes/roads are not appealing with graffiti everywhere, but the appartment was clean and comfortable. Just minutes from downtown with plenty to see, places to eat and shops. Overall loved Valencia.

ENG: The hostal has no reception, it's very dificult to contact with the staff, they don't answer to the phone they publish on booking, nor to the e-mails. Although we informed about the exact time of our arrival we still had to wait for about 10 minutes with our luggage in front of the door and in the middle of the street. Although we asked for the bill when we paid the receptionist (Rafael) didn't give us any. This is illegal, not giving receipt to the client who pays and I'm thinking of complaining to the oficina del turismo. I've requested for the bill but after a week they still don't answer to my message. They don't clean the apartment, don't change the towels, so after a couple of days everything is a mess. The apartments are quite small and there is a lot of noise from the outside and from other apartments. Most of the clients are italian teenagers who like to make botellon until sunrise. Around the hostel there are many obscure bars and the street doesn't look very safe at all. The wi-fi connection didn't work at all. We informed Rafael about the problem, he told us he would reboot the router, still it didn't work until the last day, and we've stayed for four days. To conclude: there are better options in valencia for the same price so please avoid this hostel.

Great location, the apartment is well equipped and the staff are fantastically helpful, the shower is very powerful and hot. Wifi through the apartment is excellent. On the downside the apartment is very noisy, the street is busy outside even though it looks quiet during the day and the soundproofing isnt great - the apartment above us had a child who screamed for an hour each morning 7-8 and also sounded like they were moving furniture for this full hour as well! the bed is a bit too small for 2 adults but there is also a sofabed so one of us slept on that for 2 out of the 3 nights we were there - not ideal. No English TV channels which for us wasnt a biggie but could be an issue for some.

Don't be put of by the fact that the street the apartment building is in is rather dilapidated - the apartments offer extremely good value for money. We received a very warm, friendly and helpful welcome from the lady at the reception desk. Our one bed apartment was simply furnished but extremely clean with a good bathroom and shower, the bedroom was compact but had plenty of storage space for a short break and a comfortable bed. There were 2 hot plates in the kitchen area and all the equipment needed to cook a basic meal if you should want to - we ate breakfast there, otherwise we ate out. Our apartment was at the front of the building and there is a fair amount of street noise throughout the night, but we live in a city and are quite used to that. The apartments are extremely well located, probably no more than 10 mins walk to the Cathedral square, less to the Central Market, and also the main shopping area - many of the other attractions are also within an easy walk (we even walked to the City for Arts and Sciences which took us about 45 mins - we walk reasonably quickly). There are plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants close by and a reasonably well stocked supermarket about a 5 min walk away. We did initially miss the door to the apartment building as there is no sign outside, so look for the number 13. There also isn't an intercom so we had to rattle the main door to gain attention - we were then given the code to the main door. If you are simply looking for somewhere clean, comfortable and very affordable and will be spending most of your time exploring Valencia rather than staying in your room these apartments are well worth considering.

If you are after a budget apartment which has everything, then this is the place for you. The receptionist was very helpful. She booked our taxi and solved the few small problems we encountered. She was also very friendly, which is something which seemed non existent in restaurants and shops. The flat is excellent.... modern, clean, large, has all important facilities. It is in a very central part of Valencia yet the neighbourhood is quiet. There is an air conditioning unit in the living room. The apartments are accessible by lift. A supermarket is conveniently located nearby.
