AC Hotel Valencia by Marriott4.0 out of 5.0

Hotel is very nice and clean, very close to city center and places of worship. We chose this hotel so we can just walk to the market and plazas. It is however pricey and parking is hard to find. There is also construction going on at the hotel
The hotel is overall very good. Rooms are not too large but acceptable size, well equipped and cosy. Internet connection is complimentary through most booking places, except via Marriott where it's supposed to be payable (that is why I didn't book through them). Buffet breakfast is very good with some nice Spanish traditional items. The bar has a terrace for a drink outside. The hotel is in new area very close to El Corte Ingle and shopping area, and to Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias.
Driving in from Granada I decided I wanted to be close to the amazing Santiago Calatrava science buildings and booked this property last-minute. This AC Hotel was in the perfect location, just a short walk past the Aqua shopping center (with lots of dining options) to the Calatrava buildings. I had a great top floor corner room with nice views; it was extremely clean and by Spanish standards exceptionally quiet on this floor. Actually this was the quietest property I stayed in overall in six Spanish cities. I had planned to stay only one night but decided to stay a second night and walked to the beach on the second day. The front desk staff were very cordial, gracious and polite. It's a no-frills hotel yet I was very pleased with my stay here.
Nice hotel with wide room. The service is perfect And the prices are correct 115€ during the week without the breakfirst. The hotel is in the center of valencia and at 15 minutes from the airport. I recommend this hotel specially for the businessmen.
The location of this hotel is great, as you walk out of the hotels there are many shops and restaurants. The room was clean, it was a decent size, with a balcony window, the toilet was separated from the shower which took some time to get use to. I stayed here for a business trip during my birthday (which is not always great, however I did not complain much as I was in sunny Spain) when I got back to the hotel there was a lovely surprise in my room - a cake with a bottle of water. It was a lovely gesture from the hotel. Although I was travelling for business I had a great stay.
Over the last months I had the opportunity to sleep in a few AC hotels and honestly I was positively impressed. Most hotels were refreshed and refurbished and the vibe has been pretty good. This one in Valencia impressed me as well. Efficient check in, nice rooms (the bed was placed diagonal), solid bathroom and a proper breakfast. In combination with the attractive price it is a really good business hotel for short overnight stays.
We enjoyed our visit at this AC Hotel in Valencia. The staff was friendly at check-in and helpful in all our request. The location was great for all the tourist attractions downtown. The bus station is right across the street to take out to the beach or Oceanography center. Our room was nice and comfortable. We didn't eat the breakfast. For the location the price was very competitive. Overall a very nice stay in Valencia.
Nothing stands out about this hotel. Reasonable location. Clean rooms. Handful of restaurants nearby. Functional stay option for a business trip. Breakfast could be better. The lounge cum dining area is a nice place to get some work done.
I spent here two nights. The location is OK, but nothing special. The rooms are small and without a safe, the bathroom was almost bigger than the room and nicer in comparison. The bed was uncomfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and professional, but I expected a little more of the hotel, as I compared it to its twin in Alicante.
We were married in June 2017 and honeymooned in Greece with friends but wanted to get away as a couple before the end of the year. We chose Valencia as although it's far enough away from the UK to enjoy better weather we wouldn't have to travel too far either! We arrived on the Thursday and have to say the hotel has been a absolute pleasure, close to the Aquarium, which for us was a big plus! The open top bus tours were also amazing, we bought a 48 hour ticket from reception at the hotel which included a small charge for the Biopark, another must for us! The bus tours were a great way to really see the city over a few days with the added bonus of the Biopark. The aquarium was AMAZING, we both enjoyed it far more than expected, such a well run day out! The hotel itself was lovely, clean and very well maintained. I have to say special thanks to Alessandro who was amazing throughout our stay, nothing but as too much trouble and our (not his) language barrier was soon overcome, it was an absolute pleasure to have a drink at the bar at the start and end of each evening. The only slight negative is with the room itself, the bed was not comfy at all, cheap mattress and felt really uneven which was a real shame as the rest of the hotel experience was A+, with some investment in the right area this hotel would really be top of its game. Thanks again to Alessandro and everyone at the AC Valencia for making our stay so memorable, we hope to visit again soon.
