Cheap but....
This is one the cheapest places to stay in Saas-Fee and, of course, you get what you pay for. But the Walser is a very basic annexe of the Hotel Tenne where you check in. The room was old but clean and reasonably well appointed. But there is a derelict air about the rest of the place. Don't be fooled by pictures here and elsewhere of a comfortable lounge etc. The public room - which was once a bar and breakfast room - is a bit of a dump and looks completely neglected. There is a free wi-fi - obtained through the most old-fashioned code machine - but it's a weak signal and not much use for anything. Handy for the bus terminal, shops and bars but quite a hike to the lifts. The ski storage close to the Alpin Express lift is handy. Whether this is a good value option is a matter of opinion but not certain I will be returning.

Perfect hotel for our long weekend
Fantastic service from Richard as our flight was delayed and we did not arrive until 3am!! He put our room key safe for us to find and even sent me a photo of where to find it!! Would stay there or Hotel Tennne again as they served the best waffles in their sister hotel!

Great value place
Excellent choice for solo traveller. Offer comfortable room with balcony at very good value for money. At the bottom of the building is convenient supermarket. 2 min walk from bus station

All you need.
Good location close to several restaurants and next to a supermarket. Close to the bus station - easy to get the bus to the Alpin Express. Accommodation is basic but comfortable and was excellent value.

Good value and comfortable
We ended up staying at the main hotel (hotel Tenne) because it was low season and the hostel Walser wasn't open at the time. Hotel Tenne was older, however, it was comfortable and the bathroom was bigger. I would stay there again given the price point compared to many other places.

Schöner Kurzurlaub zum Skifahren
Es war wunderbar, die Lage ist Perfekt. Aseer ein paar nachtschärmer, welche tratschen auf der Strasse ist es sehr ruhig. Preis Leistung tip top,da kann man nicht meckern. Das Frühstück absolut zu empfehlen.
