As we were staying for a week, we booked a suite. It was extremely spacious with a separate bedroom and living area. The room was very comfortable, with nice linens and duvets. The decor is quite traditional Swiss, and we typically enjoy more contemporary furnishings, but it all made the trip feel that much more authentic. We had multiple windows and gorgeous views of the town and mountains from every one! The best perk of the hotel was Stephanie the manager. Every morning she helped us choose our hiking route for the day. Each one was slightly more challenging but completely different. She was much more knowledgable than the tourist info people! The room also came with a great backpack that you could borrow, so next time I will leave mine at home. More room in my suitcase for chocolate! We will certainly return and recommend!
the 3 days we spent in this hotel were just amazing ! This is simply one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. From the second we booked to the time we left it was just perfect. Their attention to detail is amazing and i just a dream for families. It's a true kids friendly 5* hotel managed by highlighy professional that understand kids needs and make is so easy for parents to have a perfect stay !! We will be back !!!!
The two days' stay at this hotel was simply outstanding. Very nice welcome, beautiful rooms, staff very helpful and friendly, and a really 5 stars spa. Food and drinks were delicious. The good service continued also after the stay - I got what I forgot in the room within two days' time - we can't wait to go back! Thanks for making our stay thoroughly enjoable.
We stayed in mid summer. We loved using the pool area after a day's walking. Spacious and quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Helpful staff. Lovely room with views of the mountains. Internet worked well in our room. The bubbles didn;t work in the jacuzzi but never mind. The hotel gave us a citizen pass with free rides on the cable cars - which we didn;t expect and saved us some cash. We really enjoyed our stay and will come back. It is a little difficult finding a convivial place to eat in the the evenings. the restaurant attached to this hotel was dull and we would not recommend.

Just enjoyed 2 nights ski weekend. Our reception was very welcoming; drinks by a log fire and plenty of sofa seats & cushions to sink into. Glad we chose half board as 30cm of snow decided to fall on our 2 days & we stayed in for dinner. Good atmosphere in the restaurant, piano music & staff were lovely making a special effort with rose petals as it was my birthday. Thank you so much to the hotel, for our gorgeous room : (162 suite). An attic open space with log fire at the foot of the bed & next to the bath tub in the room , waking up to stunning views of the mountains all round. As the snow was too heavy for the slopes to open, we were so grateful for this room, and the fabulous pool / spa to relax in. Loved everything, comfort, ambience and service .
I was there for a 10 year reunion and had great fun; the hotel is well located and the facilities are good. The SPA is perfect and breakfast was just amazing. The Pizzeria was good value for money too.
Our hotel didn't have a spa, so we looked to see where did in Saas Fee and we found this place. We really enjoyed our two visits to the spa here. The staff were friendly and helpful and at 25 CHF each, we felt it was worth the extra cost. Lots of facilities including a lovely pool, jacuzzi, hot/cold foot baths and spacious adults-only rooms for the saunas and various individually fragranced steam rooms etc. We were able to go when it was quiet but this place gets busy later (from 3/4pm) in the afternoon after guests return from skiing for the day.
We stayed for a weekend, and we had opted for a suite as we were travelling with our kids. The room itself is very nice, lots of space for the four of us. (I am not sure I understand the idea with the glass walls in the bathroom, but ok...). The beds are very firm and the sofa bed that the kids were sleeping in not at all what you could expect, the upper part really soft and then the rest really firm. Also, the duvets or something in the beds were extremely electric.. Anyway, the spa and pool is really nice and the location of the hotel excellent. We only had breakfast which was good. We ordered room service for one of the lunches, it took more than an hour to arrive, and only after we reminded them of our order (I think the maître d hotel forgot our order at the first instance). Overall a nice stay, but not five star quality.
First I would say that I would stay here again because ultimately it's a very well located hotel with many positives, but there are two major areas of opportunity for improvement Location: the hotel is a very easy, perhaps 5 minute walk from the Saas-Fee Bus Terminal. It's right in the center of town so it's easy enough to get to the main Alpine Express lift and various restaurants and bars. Room: Exactly what we expected; typical Swiss ski resort hotel. No nonsense but everything you need, and a nice charming view to boot. Food: We had dinner in the restaurant and we found it very good; they were able to accommodate our party of 7 last-minute, which was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was a stand-out--excellent choice of buffet options and eggs, etc. made to order at no extra charge. Two major areas of opportunity: 1) The hotel offers an electric bus shuttle to get from the hotel to the ski lifts--but it only operates Monday through Friday. Strangely, they do not offer the service on weekends. Obviously this isn't terribly helpful to tell people coming for a weekend visit; when you've got your boots on and skis to haul...it's laughable that there's no bus available to get to the chair lift. 2) Service at the restaurant for dinner was not great. We were seven and wanted to divide the check by 7; after 20 minutes the waiter informed us that it wasn't possible, that he'd charge the rooms directly. It was a fine solution--but took way too long to figure out. It's service hiccups like this you just don't expect in Switzerland.
