Stay away if you plan to visit Paris during summer time. No air conditioning in the rooms.

Worth the money you pay. Need to improve maintenance to keep up. Location is nice and convenient to Metro and grocery. A kitchen is very helpful and saves money.

I flew overnight from San Francisco to Paris, did not sleep on the plane, and was dead tired. My [...] reservation said that Check-In was 14:00 (2 p.m.) at the hotel. I arrived on the dot and the hotel told me that their check-in time was 15:00 (3 p.m.) [...] plus they could not let me check in at 2 p.m. When I finally got the room at 3 p.m., it was obvious that the previous guest was a smoker--a full ash-try was on the window sill--and the room had not been aired out. I have an allergy to smoke. [...] how about getting the times correct and the non-smoking/smoking room policy of the hotel correct.

Stayed here for 2 nights with my wife and 2 daughters (ages 17 and 22). Compared the prices of other hotels for a room for 4 or for paying for 2 rooms, this was by far the best deal around. Yes, it is out a ways from the center of all the main tourist sites, but it was no problem and the Metro is fast. We took Metro 8 to the Liberte station and then walked to the hotel (of course you could also get off at the Porte de Charenton station). It really wasn't that far or too bad of a walk. The neighborhood seemed peaceful and safe. Our room was on the 5th floor and had two separate rooms each with its own internal door: the master with a double bed and the main frontroom/kitchen with a sleeper sofa that was fine for my girls. That room had a kitchenette which made it nice to put items in the fridge. The rooms were tidy and acceptable (although not super clean). There is no AC, but with the windows open, it cooled down. The downside of having to sleep with windows open were some mosquitoes and a little more noise. We ended up using the sheer window covering as a 'mosquito net' over the window and it worked better the 2nd night. TV stations are limited to French-only, but who wants to sit in a hotel room in Paris and just watch TV. The staff were helpful and check-in and check-out went very smoothly. We passed on the hotel breakfast as there are tons of pastry shops all over Paris.

We choose this hotel after reading other reviews and where not disappointed. I wanted to find a hotel that was not in the center of Paris due to the fact we drove into the city from Germany. The hotel was easily found off the highway. We arrived early for check-in but after a little bit of pleading and insisting with the gentleman at the front counter we were allowed to park our car in the garage before we checked-in. The Metro was a 5 minute walk (Liberte) and another 20 minutes ( Via Reuilly-Diderot to Concorde) we were in the middle of Paris. After 3-4 hours we returned to check-in and had no problems. I was also impressed that the room was already pre-paid and that I did not have to once even show my Credit card, they only wanted to see the internet reservation #. The kitchenette was very nice and we ate several times in our room relaxing and recovering. We also turned down the Hotel breakfast and every morning walked to the bakery down the street (3 minutes) to get pastries. There is also a grocery store about the same distance and the Metro Cafe to get a Cafe Creme before starting your day. This is not the hotel if you want to be in the middle of everything. But it is only a 20-30 minute Metro ride to anywhere and is in a safe neighborhood. We came back on the last Metro (around 12:30-12:45) several times and it was very quiet. For the price we paid for 4 adults and the easy access to all we wanted it was a great stay. I would recommend it to all.

The room was all we expected and the view and neighborhood exceeded expectations. The room was clean an comfortable. The staff was friendly during day hours; however, after hours the staff was basically useless. After promising three times to bring an extra pillow, our fourth call was greeted with - we're all out of pillows. Seven floors of rooms and not one extra pillow??? Then the hot water went out and we we're told to fix it ourselves or wait till the next day! Finally they offered to let us shower in an empty room. There was only one person on site after hours and that person was not helpful or knowledgable at all. The rate was OK and the room was nice, but they need additional staff and a lot of training.
