We always plan a visit here for a massage and workout when we are in Vail. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have an excellent variety of classes also, including some great yoga options. If you schedule at least one service, they include the use of the gym and group classes during the day of your service. Great deal!
We were so fortunate that our reservations got messed up at another hotel - we were blessed to be referred to the Vail Mountain Lodge & Spa!! The staff is unbelievably helpful for first time visitors to Vail. And the Lodge was just what we were looking for - reasonable priced at a place that had character. The added benefits we received over our original choice of lodging included an excellent complementary breakfast and free parking across the street in the public parking garage. You can "feel" that this is a family owned establishment and you cannot go wrong with choosing this Lodge while visiting Vail.
Perfect location for Vail dance festival. Spacious rooms, great soaking tubs for after a daytime hike. Attended with friends including 90plus year old mom and staff was SO helpful! Offered her an individual ride to dance venue. Wonderful stay - great for kids, adults, elders and dogs too! Nice breakfast spread too.
This was my first trip to Vail and I truly lucked out. This hotel was amazing - The staff are great - From answering my questions via phone before I arrived, and then from check-in to check-out. I stayed with my best friend and her young kids and we had the most amazing experience! Our room was upgraded at check-in, which was beyond a treat! The room was perfect and the bathrooms were beautiful - Very clean! We were within walking distance to shops and restaurants, The hotel drove and picked us up from the pool down the way. The complimentary breakfast was lovely as well! I didn't get to take advantage of the complimentary fitness classes/activities and gym, but they are a definite bonus as well. You won't be disappointed if you stay here. Thank you to all of the staff who took such good care of us! Can't wait to visit again next year!
The location is good, can walk to village and restaurants. There is no fireplace or anything attractive about the lobby. More of a condo lobby than hotel, very sparse. The buffet breakfast is scrambled eggs, bacon, French toast, in warming trays but were all barely warm or cold, and the coffee is not good. The restaurant does not offer breakfast to order, so it's buffet or nothing. Although, the same restaurant for dinner is good and the bar has nice drinks and the bartenders were very friendly. Our room #34 was a nice size with a gas fireplace. No mountain views. The sheets on the bed were rough, and the mattress was very bouncy. The bed frame needed repair of some sort it made a loud thump getting off the bed. Nice size bathroom, had a small tub, separate shower and one sink. Was nice having a spa downstairs for a massage. Front desk people were not overly friendly, didn't look up from desk or greet you when coming and going, but, if you asked a question they helped.
This cozy hotel has a perfect location in the heart of Vail Village. You can walk everywhere! I can not say enough good things about Adam (GM) and all his staff. They truly give you a first class experience! Beds are so comfortable and having a fireplace in your room was a huge bonus. We started our day every morning with the Terra Bistro breakfast that’s complimentary. Can’t beat it. Such a fun and easy experience, we can’t wait to come back and we definitely will stay at VML again!
We ended up having to extend our trip an extra night due to weather & the staff was incredibly accommodating. They were friendly the entire week stay, they were super helpful, & they were eager to help us in any way they could. The breakfast included with your stay is actually good- & I’m a picky eater. Loan who works there is an actual saint. She deserves a gold star or medal or a raise. Plus the location is absolutely PRIME.
We recently stayed at a 3 bedroom 3 bathroom platinum unit in this hotel and we could not be any happier. The location, the facilities and the service was impeccable. Would highly recommend to everyone.
5 day ski trip with my spouse and we could not have loved VML more. The location was perfect with easy walkability to Vail Village and Gondola one. The amenities could not have been better. Ski rentals were 20% off at Vail Sports and they offered complimentary valet storage and a free storage basket for boots. The Vail Athletic Club was great with saunas, steam rooms and jacuzzis and great work out facilities if you are into that kind of thing. Breakfast was the best part of every day. A full spread buffett that was covered with your hotel stay. We were thoroughly impressed with the service, especially from Milena who was always very helpful. We will be recommending VML to anyone who will listen. Thanks again!
I grew up in Vail in the 70's / 80's and still have many friends who live there. I live in Denver now so every time I visit I stay at the Vail Mountain Lodge and Spa. In my opinion, it's the best value, location and amenities you can find in the Village. Adam (GM), Kevin (Terra Bistro Owner) and the entire staff are amazing. Terra Bistro Restaurant is incredible and the servers/bartenders are the most friendly people I have experienced!
