Great Location, Beautiful Place--Just Don't Look Too Closely
The location of this place is great, close to Vail Village and easy to use the public transportation system. At first glance, the house is huge and beautiful. Our first impression was that it was clean and perfect for our group of 8. However, as we started to use items, cook in the kitchen, and hang out in the house, we quickly realized how outdated, worn-in, dirty, and cheap the place seemed. This was not an inexpensive place, but it felt like it. If you plan to cook, you spend hours cleaning everything, appliances are disgusting/moldy or broken. We understand that this is a rental place, but the owners or management company took shortcuts with the upkeep the house. The washer was full of mold and took hours to clean. Shower curtains were moldy and looked like they were never washed or changes. If you want to work or just check emails, you better have unlimited data because the wifi was a huge issue. It only works in one place and if too many people are on it, you will be kicked off. We contacted the property management and they were quick to respond, but slow to fix anything. They did make a few things right. but the hassle of this wasn't worth money that we paid.

Overall very happy
Communication with the management office was amazing. I had email responses in the matter of minutes. I did have to call twice because the door code was wrong/didnât work, but I was never put on hold and the service was efficient and friendly. The place was just as described and the location was amazing. It was a short 5 minute bus ride to Vail village center. I would be happy to stay again and will recommend to friends.

Nice Property for a Family Stay
We found this property to be well located and very comfortable. I would rate it as good overall. A couple of improvements - new great room furniture and a good carpet shampoo - would bump the rating to great. I did not pick up on it in the pics prior to reserving, but the leather sofa has a couple of rips and the cushions are just worn out. The layout of the house was perfect for our stay with the kitchen serving its purpose with plenty of space to gather. Very nice featureâs throughout the house.

Our pros and cons
This property is beautiful and in a prime location!
Pros - plenty of space/sleeping rooms, beautiful deck, hot tub, overall the property was wonderful.
Cons - dishes were quite old and not very clean and we had to wash everything before we could use them, the griddle had a note saying it was broken from the previous guest, kitchen towels had holes, food left open in cabinets, the fridge did not hold temp the second night (50 degrees and then dropped back to 40 degrees by the morning), bedding on the beds are old and dingy, carpet stains, hardly any towels for showering (we had to go buy our own), photos of the deck do not match up with the website. We brought our own chairs because the listing shows the deck as empty only to find about 8-10 chairs on the patio.
The size and location of home were great! Accommodated 12 people comfortably.
The quality of the interior decorations and the furnishings were quite lacking.
The furnishings were worn, uneven legged stools, very disorganized kitchen items and dirty dishes and utensils, lack of good quality pots and pans and other cooking items. I had to wash many of the kitchen items before I could use them because they were dirty- greasy.
Asked regarding supposed shuttle bus stop across the street from the house and did not get a straight answer. Finally I was sent some info on bus schedule which was no more helpful than what I found online. I ended up driving to the Lionshead village parking and paid to park. This was a sore point because I rented this property because it was in the shuttle bus route.
Overall it wasnât the most spectacular experience.

Great location, great property
Perfect for our group of 9. Ages ranged from 11-69. Plenty of room to enjoy being together, as well as spread out for individual time. Only surprise was one less futon bed, that showed in pictures, as one had been removed and replaced by a pool table - which was great. Tub and showers could use a little bit of maintenance. Easy access to the villages. Would absolutely stay here again!

This house was outstanding! Plenty of room for our group of 6. The hot tub was a dream, the beds were comfy and the house was very clean. We didnât know until we arrived but it even has a pool table that the men loved! The location is also great! I would 100% book this house again if we come back to Vail.

Great place to stay for the price!!
I was overall very impressed with this property! The house is perfect for a large group to stay at. The kitchen/dining/family room area were awesome. Tons of room for our entire group to gather. We spent most of our time in those three rooms. Master bedroom is huge with a beautiful bathroom and closet. The other rooms are nice with each having their own bathroom, however some are smaller than expected, but we didnât spend much time in there, so it worked. A few things were different from the listing, but the service we received from Turnkey Properties was amazing!! They always responded immediately to any questions or needs, which I was super impressed with. Also, the location was perfect! We would definitely consider staying at this house next time we visit Vail.

Great location; plenty of space!
Great locationâjust minutes away from Vail Village and just around the corner from grocery/liquor store and breakfast diner. Plenty of space for a large group, if needed. Large kitchen and cozy living room for hanging out. One of the few properties I was able to find that had sufficient beds for adults and not just rooms full of twin or bunk beds. Could use some updated linens, but otherwise, clean and comfortable.
This place is simply amazing. The space is so comfortable and spacious. Our whole group absolutely loved it. Plus the customer service was top notch. We had a minor issue with the hot tub and they came out and fixed it right away and assured us that if there were any issues that the service was available 24/7. Also, itâs super close to a bus stop that can bring you to the slopes or to town very quickly. I highly recommend this place.

Bachelor Party Home-base
This property exceeded all expectations. We didnât expect to be at the property much, and more out and about exploring Vail, but it had everything we needed once we needed to settle in. It was clean, had plenty of beds or places for people to sleep, and great common area for us to congregate.
My experience with the property manager was effortless and easy. Had no problems getting in contact with them and the response time was quick. Finding information from unlocking the hot tub to figuring out the WiFi password was easily to find and access.
We made great use of the hot tub after being on the mountain all day. It was in a great location being close to the resort but also amenities for food and necessities.
My worry that if it snowed and that the driveway, which is somewhat on an elevation, would become an issue. That concern was put to the test but was quickly put to rest when I realized driveway was heated.
I definitely look to book this property again in for future ski/board trips to Vail.

My 50th Birthday Ski Trip
I can't say enough how I enjoyed my stay. The property was gorgeous and the location was great. The group really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint but has nothing to due with the property....you must have transportation. We had a hard time getting transportation to the airport using Uber. So get transportation ahead of time. Thank you for a great stay.

DISAPPOINTMENT AND FRUSTRATION
We booked this home for three nights and were unable to walk foot in the door based on the treacherous weather conditions (all roads/passes closed) earlier this past week. I did agree to the cancellation policy but would have hoped common sense and human kindness would have prevailed when we requested even a portion of the fees be refunded. Having been timeshare holders in the past, we certainly know there are terms and conditions but would have thought, at the very minimum, (unused cleaning fees, service fees, etc.) could have been refunded. We requested the management company reach out to the owner but have yet to hear a word. Having been owners in a similar situation I most certainly would have understood, under these conditions, and would have refunded my tenants entire amount. It's called understanding, common sense and kindness; none of which were present in this situation.
