The property is very conveniently located in Lionshead Village; close to the lift, shops, and restaurants. The ski valet service is outstanding and worth using as you skis will be by the gondola when the lifts open. Don't forget to tip the guys! The property is tired though and the room needed updating as everything seemed old. The wifi did not work and the front desk sort of shrugged that off with comments along the lines of "yeah, we need to call the provider". The tv was old and needed replacing as the color was off. However, the positives outweigh the negatives enough that I would probably stay there again due to the price point and convenience.
Location was excellent! The unit had everything you needed and the pool and hot tubs were great. Will definitely be back.
The condo was really nice and cozy we stayed in unit 410 it could easily sleep 8 , the sofa bed was missing the sheets but we managed since the front desk was closed. The one thing we did not like was that we did not get any parking, they said they charge $25 if you book via orbitz :(
Enjoyed our stay at The Antlers in Vail. Most disappointing however, was the gas fireplace not working on several different occasions in our room. The office staff fixed it the first time, however, I did not like the fact that each time it didn't work I was asked to call the staff and they would come fix it. I would be missing the opportunity however if I didn't mention the room was large, comfortable, and located in a great spot in the Village. I would most definitely stay here again! Thank You!
We loved our stay-except the room decor cause it to be dark(heavy curtains) and the furniture was rickety and uncomfortable
This is a really great place. My room's balcony looked right at the mountain. (of course all rooms are different). Very clean. The staff was very friendly top to bottom. This is Vail and hospitality is the word. About two inches left of the heart of Lionshead's Village you will find refuge at The Antlers. No more than 100 yards away you will find the Eagle Bahn Gondola as well as shops, eats and a very useful [free] bus stop. (between Lionshead and Vail Villages) There are in-hotel ski lockers as well as ski valet. Every morning your skis will be delivered to the base of the Eagle Bahn Gondola, and then collected in the evening. The only downside is that Vail mountain is so dang big that it may take some getting used to, following the trails back to Lionshead Village! If it's your first time headed to Vail, I wish I could see your face when you arrive! I will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend to anyone traveling to Vail who doesn't want to mortgage their first born to do so lol.
we have been staying at the antlers for 3 times, and as always they do a good job. Mark is always helpfull in getting dinner reservation and the place is very clean
This is the second time we stay at Antlers. Location is perfect, overlooking the mountain and just 150yds away from Eagle Bahn Gondola. We are a family of 4 with my wife and 2 teens. We stayed at a 1BR/1Bath. The rooms are spacious with a nice bedroom and a Living room, dining room and kitchenette. The staff gave us room 503 that was awesome because it had a little additional room with 2 beds one on top of the other, so instead of using the sofa-bed in the living room to sleep, we didn't need to open/close the sofa each night. Staff was always helpful and made us feel at home. Fantastic stay. We will come back.
best location if u have kids at ski school. the hotel is just next to the gondola and next to the ski school and rental location
We went in the summer. We hiked. The room/condo we stayed was beautiful, dog friendly and great location. The staff was great! The front desk person wanted us to get the best room with a river view without us really asking, he just wanted us to have a great experience-And we did. Super affordable!!
They are still under some renovation on the outsided, so it was a little noisy in the morning with the construction work. The 2 bed/2bath was good size
Excellent value, walk anywhere or by bus. Outstanding restaurants. Views everwhere. Right in Lionhead, looks like a European Village with high dollar shops and hotels around every corner. Just outstanding in every way. We will be back next year, same location, same time of year. Most restaurants featured 2 for Dinners and Wine (they consider Sept. off season). The Aspen Trees were turning......Just Great.
Large room for a good price. Great location, can walk to almost anywhere in Vail. Very good service and attentive staff. Fresh coffee every morning, and free popcorn with DVD rental.
