Arrived late. Talked to Jeffery earlier that day. He gave us very easy instructions on how to use late check-in box. We were attending a wedding in Beaver Creek and would rather stay in Vail. Enjoyed stay so much we decided to stay an extra day.
My stay at Simba Run is always cozy and comfortable. The rooms are clean and well maintained. I love the convenience of a fully stocked Kitchen with all of the kitchen essentials to cook full meals. There were T.V.s in each room so we didn't miss any of the 2016 Olympic action. The DVD rental kiosk is such a nice touch for when you want to just chill in your room. The staff was nice and they took care of a room issue very quickly. The indoor pool at Simba Run is so perfect and fun. Overall the stay at Simba run was perfect, my party and I will definitely book again.
My husband and I stayed here with our three children! It was so relaxing. The ski shuttle dropped us off very close to the gondola and picked us up at the end of the day. The unit was very accommodating and met all our needs. Would love to come back!
Really liked the giant pool, floor plan of the 2-bedroom condo. Location is very convenient to both villages. Hotel staff that I met (front desk and engineering) were very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was upstairs bedroom got very hot during the day and they were out of fans.
Pleasant stay with plenty of space and a real apartment with some hotel amenities and perks. Great Jacuzzi and heated pool. Good location and amenities.
My wife and I had a great stay. Only one setback, it was way to SHORT. The apartment had EVERYTHING you can DREAM of.
Our stay at the Simba Run Condos was excellent. The condo was nice and the staff was great.
This was a perfect stay for us in Vail Colorado. We got an awesome deal with buy 2 nights get 1 night fee. This was a spacious well clean 2BR 2BA condo with full kitchen, washer and dryer and fireplace. The full kitchen saved us a ton on eating out because they had everything you needed from pots and pan to a frig with French doors. There is a large indoor pool and a outdoor tennis court on the 4th floor. Just 2 minute drive to Lionshead and Vail Village. The free wifi was fast and the cable was Comcast. We will be returning.
We checked in with no problem. The hotel is a little dated and extremely hard to get from parking garage to condo to pool, and so forth...almost like a maze. Our condo was very comfortable...each condo is privately owned, so decor is different in each place. No A.C....space fans everywhere. Huge indoor pool. We would come back, definitely!
we like this resort.Best location .Good wiew.Like to sky at Vail .Best restaurants.
We like this hotel.Perfect location, clean rooms, staff was good. Perfect weather conditions to ski.
Very good hotel.. I stay there two years in a row.
Staff anxious to help and although the parking was an extra expense it was out of the weather-close to grocery stores and minutes from Lionshead.
The condo was fine, about what I expected. The furnishing were a bit worn but not bad. The advertising did not say it had no air-conditioning. The weather this was not a problem but you did need to keep the winows open and the condo did come with two nice fans. However, the problem is that I-70 is just outside the window and you hear the traffic going all night long.
friendly staff and very clean walking distance to the town of vail
Location is not in Lionshead, but the shuttle makes it very convenient. Room was dated interior but comfortable. Try to get a room not facing the road, noise is noticeable at night.
Good clean rooms, good service, and love the large outdoor hot tub. The only drawback is the location. Its far from Vail and Lionshead villages (not walking distance) so you have to rely on the free hotel shuttle or town shuttle. Otherwise its good value for the money and I would consider staying here again.
I live in the vail valley and stayed at Simba for the Thanks giving holiday with my family. The price was perfect. Only a few things that were ok. The wireless DID NOT work at all in the condo. If you wanted to use the internet you had to go down to the lobby. Simba run is a CONCRETE building so no wireless in the room. The heat in condo 1527 was VERY touchy, it was either very hot or very cold in the condo. Also the pool was not very warm and the outdoor hot tube was probably in the the high 90's. Also the $10/day to park the car. A bit steep!
We came up for Father's Day Weekend and had a great time. Our Condo was nicely furnished and really enjoyed the hot tubs, pool and coffee in the mornings.
We loved our condo. Stayed from April 11th - April 15th, 2011 for our anniversary. Staff at Simba was great, both the front desk and the shuttle drivers. Condos are across I-70 from the villages, but we liked being over there. Grocery store & liquor store were close by too. Shuttle runs every 20 minutes or so to/from Simba and it does have underground $10 a day parking. Condo #2204 was a great condo with modern furnishings and a fireplace. It was down a flight of stairs, however. Most floors have elevator access. Pool & hot tubs looked nice though we did not use them. Went to Glenwood Hot Springs instead, 60 miles away. Also visited Aspen & Breckenridge, but Vail was the best by far. Loved Vail AND Simba Run!!!!
