This property is perfectly designed and centrally located. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The service is spectacular and ski valet is second-to-none. The food at The Flame and Bean & Gone is excellent.
From our quick check in to our perfect departure there was not a detail overlooked during our stay. I was traveling with my 12 and 9 year old on a boys trip to Vail. When we checked in there was a tent bed setup for my 9 year old and snacks for the children's arrival. Classy touch. From 4-5 each day there was S'Mores poolside along with a box of heated towels and robes. Breakfast was flawless with good choices on the kids menu and impeccable service. The big plus is renting your equipment through the hotels partner Gorsuch. You can get fitted for your boots without leaving the hotel. Their Ski concierge service mountainside is beyond words in terms of ease. You are given a secure locker for your "street" clothes and pick up your heated/dried boots. They will than cart your skis to the Gondola and help you get set-up. Worth every penny if you are traveling with children. Big bonus is that the price is comparable to outside rentals companies. At 2:30 each day there is a staff member at the base of Gondola One with a cart to return your gear to the Ski Chalet, where you can have Hot Chocolate or Lavazza Coffee. All in all we made the perfect choice in choosing the Four Seasons. Even for it being towards the end of the season the staff and service were on their A game.
As a couple we travel quit a bit and experience good and bad hotels and service from coast to coast. We have stayed at the Four Seasons Vail twice a year for four years for a getaway ski trip. From the time you drive up to the hotel and the guest service individual greets you is when the great service starts. Front desk staff is friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Emily the concierge was knowledgeable about restaurants and booked our reservations at several places. Food and Beverage staff were polite and quick to serve our favorite libation.Rooms are extremely clean and beds were comfortable. Over sized bedrooms and bathrooms great for the taking the grand kids. Thank you to the entire staff at Four Seasons for another wonderful stay- You all rock- see you soon!
The Four Seasons Vail is the best. I stayed there when I had surgery at the Steadman Clinic and it could not have been better. the hot chocolate is off the charts!! the food, the service and the location the best ever! thanks to everyone at resort
This was a fantastic venue for our event. Every employee we came in contact with was professional and helpful. The property is beautiful and elegant. We will call on Four Seasons Vail again for events with our most valued stakeholders. Thank you!
There’s no question this place provides five star service you expect from four seasons. Front desk, doorman, restaurant and ski valet all provided a great experience. Food was delicious and diverse on the breakfast menu (didn’t eat dinner there). Really liked the pancake / omelet bar. As for skiing it was helpful they have the additional rental site near the lifts. I was extremely pleased with the room which was spacious including the bathroom. However the property lacks a certain grandeur as it sits on a small tight lot (no views) well away from the mountain (long walk to lift). This didn’t bother me too much as someone’s guest but if I were paying these prices I’d want more from the location.
Given the price and additional charges and fees, there must be better value in Vail. Breakfast options were all very expensive and somewhat disappointing. Ski concierge was not great. Bar menu was challenging.
While skiing and being pampered usually do not go hand-in-hand, the Four Seasons has managed to pull it off. Our family spent four days at this property, which is conveniently located a short walk from Gondola One in Vail Village. It is not a ski in/ski out hotel but their skiing concierge facility near the gondola allows you to keep your boots, skis, and other equipment in a nice facility with lockers near the lift. This makes for a much more enjoyable ski experience than clomping around in your ski boots and schlepping your stuff around everyday. They even bring your skis right to the gondola so you don't carry them at all. Sweet. They are also there at the end of the day to bring them back for you. We felt spoiled. We did notice a “housekeeping cleaning error” that was not a big deal to us but was clearly embarrassing to the resort manager, Rafael. Since they had provided us with an outstanding room upgrade to a large, spectacular suite overlooking the mountain, I assured Rafael he did not need to do anything more for us. That said, he still took something off the bill after we had departed. I thought that was a pro move. Overall, our family had a great experience at the Four Seasons in Vail. Any downside? Well, you can probably figure that out for yourself. You’re not at the Motel 6 so expect to inflict some pain on your wallet. Still, if you're looking to invest in a memorable experience in ski country, this property should be at the top your list!
Always a great pleasure to stay at this resort and be treated like royalty. Staff is great and even remembered to bring crushed ice to the room several times a day after I hurt my knee skiing. The bar area was wonderful with a great view of the mountain.
Visited on a business trip. Property, service and food was excellent. Only downside is that the property is not slope side, but it is a manageable walk or the shuttle is available as well. I will consider this property when returning to Vail in the future.
