Excellent hotel in Vail. Loved the fireplace in our very spacious and well-appointed guest room. Bed extremely comfortable and luxurious. The spa and services top notch. Staff very friendly and helpful. Couldn't ask for a better place to stay in Vail for three days of skiing.
This is a great hotel situated near the heart of Vail Village. We really enjoyed our time. However, my husband was disappointed when he was told the spa was one of Four Seasons' best and then his deep tissue massage was mediocre--granted it was from an on call therapist. We were also less than excited to hear the hotel has no ability to charge an electric car--for this reason we may explore other places to stay for future trips.
The hotel is fine but more like a Hilton or Westin than a Four Seasons. Rooms at the Sebastian down the street or at the Ritz in Beaver Creek, for instance, are more plush although the Four Seasons bathrooms are excellent. Furniture in the room is fairly spartan and oddly placed - for instance our room with a king-sized bed had only one comfortable chair, leaving the other person to either sit on the floor or at the desk chair despite the room having ample room for a second chair or a love seat. In addition, the fireplace and humidifier in the room were broken (both were quickly fixed, however). More annoyingly, though, the hot tubs and heated pool were closed from 4-7pm for a private party despite 4-7pm being the prime apres-ski hour and hot tubbing being a prime apres-ski activity.
Amazing staff & great location. Beautiful rooms with balcony & fireplace. So cozy. Amazing ski concierge. This made our ski vacation extra special.
Beautiful, clean, hospitable. Memorable experience.
Perfect getaway! Do not miss this location and the most fabulous rooms!
We enjoyed all of the amenities of the Four Seasons Vail Resort during the "Shoulder Season". The staff made every effort to make sure we had a memorable experience. We were treated like guest and local alike. The spa was running a fantastic deal, which was well worth the trip (although I would not recommend paying full price for a massage as I didn't feel it warranted it). My husband and I hope to return to this special place!
The Four Seasons, Vail, CO was spectacular, not a detail missed. Great resort for a quick weekend getaway.
