Françoise is very helpful, the accommodation is spacious and well equipped. The pool is very enjoyable on a hot day. Parking is on site. VRBO need to be transparent about payment, we were not expecting to pay 40 for laundry of linen & towels.

Beautiful setting, stunning accommodation

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week during this summer. The huge farmhouse has been really well restored, with incredible vaulted ceilings and traditional southern French architecture, and the surrounding area is absolutely stunning. The apartment was very clean, very attractive and made for a relaxing stay. It is situated very near the town centre of Uzès (2 minute walk), yet the accommodation is very calm and peaceful. It was great to have a large pool as well, as it gets very hot in summer! Can't wait to get back there next year!! Also lots of people speak English in the town, so the language wasn't a problem, but I still got to practice my limited French.

Excellente semaine dans ce mas à Uzès. L’appartement est spacieux, très fonctionnel et parfaitement équipé, tout est pensé pour que l’on s’y sente bien immédiatement. Un immense merci à Madame Françoise Fontanille, une logeuse absolument charmante, attentive et profondément investie dans le bien-être de ses hôtes. Sa disponibilité, sa bienveillance et le soin qu’elle apporte à chaque détail font toute la différence. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

Superbe domaine, très paisible, avec un cadre magnifique. Le logement est impeccable, tout comme les extérieurs qui sont parfaitement entretenus et joliment fleuris.La propriétaire peut sembler un peu froide au premier abord et n'y va pas par quatres chemins quand elle a quelque chose à dire, mais c’est aussi son rôle de veiller au respect des lieux. Derrière cela, elle se montre en réalité très gentille, disponible et discrète.J’ai passé de très belles vacances avec ma sœur, que je vois à peine 2 fois par an. Nous étions 7 au total avec 4 ados (cousins), tous heureux de se retrouver. Forcément, ça crie, ça saute dans la piscine, et le soir sur la terrasse ça discute et ça rit parfois un peu tard… Ce n’est pas toujours simple à gérer car cet endroit demande du calme.Malgré cela, je recommande vivement ce magnifique domaine. Un mas a découvrir a Uzès....

Un endroit tout a fait charmant a 700 m du centre ,la maîtresse de maison et a votre écoute pour le moindre problème,les appartements sont de bonnes tailles et très bien arrangés et vous pourrez vous baigner dans une piscine de 15m /6m....je recommande vivement..

Délicieuse semaine

Véritable havre de paix, le Mas de Françoise nous a permis de nous ressourcer avec nos ados ! L'endroit est en effet propice à la détente et aux activités ( ping-pong, pétanque, piscine, visites aux alentours ( grotte de la Salamandre)...). De plus, après un accueil simple et chaleureux, nous avons profité d'un logement fabuleux au charme authentique: il est vrai que peu de personnes peuvent prétendre avoir bénéficié d'une salle à manger digne d'un petit château ( pierres apparentes et voûtes incroyables) Enfin, Mme Fontanille est une personne très discrète et très à l'écoute de ses hôtes. Nous sommes ravis de l'avoir rencontré et nous espérons qu'un jour nous y retournerons. Je recommande vivement. Mme SERPOLET

Eine schöne Zeit

In einem wunderschönen Haus von 1720 haben wir mit zwei Vätern und fünf Heranwachsenden eine tolle Zeit verbracht. Den Pool haben wir uns mit netten Nachbarn geteilt. Die Stadt ist eine Reise wert, im weiteren Umland gibt es tolle Ziele. Wir warten nur einmal am Meer, dann haben wir festgestellt, dass man in den Flüssen viel schöner schwimmen kann. Unser Tipp: Pont d‘arc! Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit!

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir waren zwei Wochen in der großen Ferienwohnung, die mit allen möglichen Geräten ( Spülmaschine, Waschmaschine, Mixer etc) ausgestattet ist. Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr großzügig und sauber. Die Anlage hat den Kindern gut gefallen, da es einen Pool gibt und auf der anderen Seite eine große Wiese, auf der man Ball spielen kann. Das war auch für den Hund praktisch. Der Ort ist sehr nett, aber auch günstig gelegen für Ausflüge in die Provence und für Weinliebhaber.

Sentiment mitigé

Le gite est tres jolie et le lieu de l'établissement était très agréable. Néanmoins dans l'annonce il n'était pas précisé que le gîte était composé de plusieurs logements et de ce fait que la piscine était partagée avec des horaires stricts. La propriétaire lunatique était également logée au dessus de notre lieu de résidence. A su être accueillante mais s'est montrée très exigeante voire désobligeantes quand à la réception de fin de séjour notamment du à la présence de notre chien. Nous a été accusé à tord de tâches dissimulées alors que nous avons rendu le logement plus propre qu'à notre arrivée. Nous sommes déçus que cela ce soit terminé de cette façon car cette famille a su aussi être agréable.

Super séjour passé en famille, 9 membres pour être précis (2 adultes et 7 enfants). Centre ville proche même à pied. Cadre idéal avec une superbe bâtisse. Logement spacieux et juste la petite cour à traverser pour bénéficier de la piscine ! Génial pour les enfants. Un grand merci à Mme Fontanille pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité.

Spacious apartment in lovely stone mas

The apartment is attractive, spacious, full of character, and the host Françoise is very helpful. Nice shared pool (NB there several apartments sharing the pool and courtyard). Easy 10 minute walk into lovely Uzès. There’s no walk-in shower but I was happy taking shower baths. I had a little trouble finding the place as google maps didn’t have it in the right spot (search for Location vélos Uzès instead).
