In a garrigue environment, 3kms from the center of UzĂšs, apartment in a house, on the ground floor, not overlooked, with independent entrance. The apartment faces the swimming pool (9. 5. x 4. 00) and the garden, which is somewhat separate from the owners' area. It is wooded with oaks, pines, olive trees.
The apartment consists of a living room (flat screen TV), dining area, a kitchen (fridge, stove with oven, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, etc.), a bedroom with a 140 cm bed , cupboard, a bathroom and a separate toilet.
In the garden are deckchairs, deckchairs, and a dining table under the trees.
You can have an electric plancha.
The garden is fenced with a covered parking space.
You can get to the center of UzĂšs in 5 minutes by car or in 20 minutes on foot via a garrigue path. Many paths allow you to take walks around, especially towards the source of the Eure valley which fed the city of Nimes via the Pont du Gard, in Roman times.
Close to all shops on foot, the Haribo museum.
Avignon is 30 kms away, Nimes 25 kms, the CĂ©vennes in 45 minutes and the beaches in 1 hour

GemĂŒtliches, sauberes und komfortables Appartement mit einem wunderschönen, weitlĂ€ufigen mediterranen Garten. Die Unterkunft liegt in einer ruhigen, kleinen Straße. Nach 10 Minuten Fußweg erreicht man GeschĂ€fte fĂŒr den tĂ€glichen Bedarf. Gleichzeitig gibt es zahlreiche ausgeschilderte Wanderwege in direkter NĂ€he. So ist auch die Altstadt von UzĂšs ĂŒber verschiedene Wanderwege gut in einer halben Stunde zu erreichen.Un grand merci Ă  Marie et Etienne pour votre hospitalitĂ©!Wir werden nĂ€chstes Jahr wiederkommen.

The property was in a fantastic location, close to supermarkets and a boulangerie. Only a short drive into Uzes and Pont Du Gard and giving easy access to other major destinations. We loved the privacy and the quiet of the property and garden. Having a covered carport and secure entry gate was reassuring.The garden and pool area were a delight in the extreme July heat. Having clean linen provided for the second week, was a nice touch. The living room was very comfortable with a large high quality flat screen t.v., allowing us to log into Netflix, Prime etc.Etienne and Marie were the perfect hosts, being close by for anything we needed, but offering us complete privacy. Our only recommendation would be for air conditioning, particularly in the bedroom, as it was uncomfortably hot, even with an overhead fan. A mosquito net on the bathroom window and perhaps bedroom doors, would have helped lower the temperature at night. We had an extremely enjoyable stay and would highly recommend this property for your holiday.

Wonderful private apartment

This beautiful apartment with a pool was a delight. Our hosts Etienne and Marie were most welcoming but also afforded us complete privacy. The apartment was beautifully designed and decorated and very well equipped. While it is possible to hike into Uzes on a lovely trail, the property is too far from the village itself to casually stroll into town; the 10 minute drive into town was fine. The swimming pool is absolutely wonderful.

Lovely place to base yourself for Provence

We had a week at the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The only issue was mosquito's, which tool a liking to pale Scottish flesh, but we bought plenty of repellent from the pharmacy which seemed to keep them at bay. The accommodation was lovely though, very comfortable and we appreciated the books and artwork on the walls. As a location, Uzes is ideal for exploring the region. We visited the Carmargue, Arles, Avignon and spent a couple of days just enjoying Uzes itself. Pont du Guard is 5 minutes away by car and amazing to see. Coming back to the pool was delightful as a way to cool of from the hot days. It was up to 39 degrees during the week we were there so a refreshing dip was most welcome. Ettienne and Marie were lovely.

Comfortable, well-equipped gite, peaceful yet ideally located for the town of UzĂšs and local shops. The pool is fabulous and quite private, and the owners are lovely: very low-profile but available if you need them. Thoroughly recommended!

Wonderful stay in Uzes.

The apartment is really beautifully furnished and had everything we needed - the private pool is a real bonus. The owners Etienne and Marie Carmen were very welcoming and helpful. It's in a really quiet area, yet also close to shops. Uzes is a lovely town and we enjoyed exploring the area, including Nimes, the Pont du Gard (very close!), St Remy de Provence, the Camargue and driving up into the Cevennes. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

The apartment is clean, modern, functional, private, quiet and gives access to a wonderful garden.

The apartment is well-situated close to UzĂšs which is accessible by walking trails in the valley or by road. It features all the needed mod cons, including a washing machine. It is also very close to a shopping centre with grocery store. The owners are welcoming and very helpful. This is a great place to stay to explore the Gard region of France.

Sehr nette Gastgeber (wohnen im vorderen Teil des Hauses, sind immer erreichbar, wenn man es brĂ€uchte, aber ansonsten ist man fĂŒr sich) mit einer hĂŒbschen schattigen Wohnung im hinteren Teil und einem wunderbaren, sehr gepflegten Pool (der wirklich nur von den GĂ€sten genutzt wird). Auf dem GrundstĂŒck ist man völlig ungestört. Wij vonden het een heerlijke plek waar we goed tot rust zijn gekomen. Zwembad was heerlijk, huis was goed en schoon. Wij hebben wel een minpunt: namelijk het keukengerei is erg karig. Slechte, bekraste pannen waarin alles aankoekt. Wij hebben dit opgelost door zelf een nieuwe pan te kopen bij de supermarkt.
