This is pure relaxation, well deserved!

Lodge Eagle`s nest is a comfortable chalet (terraced house) with private garden, 2 double bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, open plan living room with kitchen and dining area, wood pellet burner. The bedrooms have good sized double beds, the master bedroom comes with an en suite bath with tub and toilet. The second bathroom come with a walk-in shower.

There are max. 2 dogs allowed 

During winter either snow chains or a 4 x 4 are necessary. The mountain road is a paved road and is cleared very well but nevertheless snow chains or a 4 x 4 may be required. The next supermarket and doctor office are both located in the valley at the town centre of Uttendorf which is 17km away.

From September 2020 to approximately 2025 we will be facing some issues because of a construction site 600m nearby. From beginning of 2020 until early 2022 they will develop a tunnel and afterwards a cavern waterpower plant will be installed inside the mountain. We kindly ask you for your understanding and hope that you will enjoy the outstanding mountain scenery around the Weißsee Gletscher.

The lake is a reservoir and the water is drained and dammed several times a day to produce electricity.
Therefore, unfortunately, it is not allowed to swim in the lake. The water would also be much too cold for bathing, it never rises above 10 degrees.
You can splash around a bit, let your feet hang in, etc. you can do it at the upper end where the stream runs into the lake. For swimming, we recommend our great bathing lake in the valley below. Enjoy your summer days with delicious meals on site, SUPs to borrow, a slide and a children's area.
Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a kitchen, 3 bathrooms, and a fireplace. Limited housekeeping is available.

Winterferien in Enzingerboden

Das Haus hat eine tolle Lage mit schönem Blick zu allen Seiten. Es ist sehr modern eingerichtet und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war super, es wurde uns ein früher Check-In am Anreisetag ermöglicht, was sehr nett war. Die Wohnung (und die Küche) ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Wir haben immer selbst gekocht und haben nichts vermisst (es gibt auch eine Nespresso-Maschine und eine italienischen Esspresso-Kocher). Als wir eine Teekanne vermisst haben, wurde diese binnen eines Tages für uns gekauft und ins Haus gebracht. Es gibt eigentlich nur eine Kritik, die wir hatten bzw. etwas, dessen man sich bewusst sein muss: wir waren zu viert vor Ort, 2 Eltern und 2 erwachsene Kinder (18 und 25). Auch wenn die Wohnung für 4-6 Personen angeboten wird, sollte man nach unserer Einschätzung nicht mit mehr als 4 Personen anreisen - sonst müssten weitere Personen auf der Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer schlafen, wodurch es schon sehr eng würde. Und z.B. der Küchentisch und der Platz in der Küche eignen sich auch kaum für mehr als 4 Personen (Ausnahme: kleine Kinder, das könnte man ggf. machen). Schade ist auch, dass nur in einem der beiden Schlafzimmer ein wirklich gutes Doppelbett steht, obwohl man auch im zweiten Schlafzimmer ein solches unterbringen könnte. Die Matratze ist deutlich dünner als normal und die Unterkonstruktion doch sehr simpel - unsere beiden (großen) Kinder haben nicht gut dort geschlafen, erst als wir zusätzlich Decken und Felle auf die Matratze gelegt haben, war es "ok". Hier würde eine Investition durch die Eigentümer dem Komfort der Gäste sehr entgegen kommen (kleine Anregung :-) ). Sehr angenehm ist, dass es 2 Bäder (einmal mit Badewanne und Duschvorrichtung nebst Duschvorhang, einmal mit geräumiger Dusche) und eine extra Toilette gibt (diese liegt im EG neben dem Eingang) - das ist für solche Ferienwohnungen ein echter Luxus, den wir sehr genossen haben. Leider gibt es aber nur einen zentralen Durchlauferhitzer im Haus - der ist leistungsfähig und daher gibt es immer ausreichend warmes/ heißes Wasser, aber wenn 2 Personen gleichzeitig duschen "nimmt man sich gegenseitig das warme Wasser weg". Das ist nicht so schlimm, wenn man nur zu viert ist und keine "Dauerduscher" dabei sind, aber auch hier würden mehr als 4 Personen zu "Engpässen" führen. Wenn man die oben genannten Kritikpunkte kennt und sie für einen persönlich kein Problem darstellen, sollte man unbedingt buchen - daher auch 5 Sterne.

Gemütliche Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich eingerichtet, allerdings für 6 Personen ziemlich eng. Am Esstisch finden 6 Personen nur gerade so Platz und in der Küche können keine 2 Personen zur selben Zeit stehen. Ansonsten alles gut. Carport dabei, Check in einfach.
