"The villa and surrounding property are beautiful! Gorgeous lake and forest, modern and clean house, everything you need for a night by the lake with family and friends: large living room and patio, kitchen supplies, place for a bonfire, firewood, sauna available for rent, indoor fireplace - you name it.
I’m taking two stars off because the host did not honor my full reservation. I booked Thu-Sun six months before. When I called a week before to ask a question, was told that they can’t host me on Thursday because there is an event at the property. He said he was trying to communicate this for months. Well no message was sent to me so had I not called I probably would have arrived on Thursday just to find a party at the property I booked! We had to make last minute changes to our other accommodation to have where to stay until Friday. On top of that I had to call and request for a refund for Thursday night because the host said he can’t figure out how to do that with Expedia. No discount was offered for the rest of the stay. Caused us tons of inconvenience and disappointment."
