We enjoyed our time at the cottage.

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. The thick walls meant the cottage stayed cool when it was hot outside. The place was comfortable and had all the necessary items. We would recommend it for a short break.

A tiny little cottage but it has everything you could want.

A tiny little cottage but it has everything you could want. Very quirky! Steep stairs up to the bedroom which might not suit everybody. Bed very comfortable. The only negatives were that the pressure in the shower was a bit feeble and there was a problem with the hot water supply which meant a terrific banging in the pipes but I believe a plumber was due to fix this. I never quite worked out the radiators but since it wasn't really cold this wasn't a problem. The cottage is situated very well to explore the southern Lake District easily. We had a lovely time at Cragg Cottage

An idyllic little cottage packed with character and charm.

An idyllic little cottage packed with character and charm. We loved it from the moment we walked through the door! The cottage has everything you need. Jean the owner was lovely and very helpful. The cottage is set in a quiet little village with plenty of country walks, a great pub with lovely food and a farm shop. It’s lovely for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside, yet a great base for visiting local attractions and the southern lakes! We shall definitely return! Really lovely little cottage.

Really lovely little cottage. Very clean and well equipped kitchen considering that it’s quite small. Downstairs is small but it has everything you need and a wonderful original fireplace for a fireplace on colder nights. WiFi worked really well. Owner was very friendly and helpful. In lovely village setting with kids of footpaths. Highly recommended. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

Cragg cottage is a fantastically located property in easy reach of Ulverston, Coniston and Windermere. The cottage was perfectly equipped for all our needs and we had a very comfortable stay. The owner, Jean, was very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble for her when we had occasion to trouble her. It was our first time visiting the property this year and I’ve no doubt we’ll be back. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A lovely cottage for two.

A lovely cottage for two... Small by some standards but a very pleasant cottage to spend some time. The kitchen maybe a little small for keen cooks, but hey, your on holiday so let someone else cook for you... The White Hart pub maybe??? Would book again.

Craig Cottage is an absolutely beautiful little cottage.

Craig Cottage is an absolutely beautiful little cottage. Downstairs is the main living area - open plan kitchen/dining/living. Tasteful furnishings blended with old world charm. Upstairs is the bedroom with en-suite. Just your quintessential Lake District character cottage. Would love to come back.

Compact and bijou, but a really lovely cottage in an ideal location for anyione wating to explore southern Lakeland, to get to and into Lake Coniston, the bottom end of Windermere, but also Cartmel, Ulveston and the coast. The welcome is warm but unobtrusive, the accommodation well-appointed. It is cosy and don't expect to write a novel while gazing out of the window. But as a base for the things I mentioned above, it is ideal.

Lovely quiet and cottage in a fabulous location.

Lovely quiet and cottage in a fabulous location. Cosy and comfortable, with a very friendly owner who doesn't interfere in any way, but is there if you need something. There is off-road parking next to the cottage, great walks from the door, and a good pub (White Hart) only 5 minutes down the lane in the village - need to book at weekends!. We would definitely like to return.
