Good location

The hotel is old it’s been refurbished but somethings aren’t well done we had damp walls , carpet in a room with a dog not sure how they deep cleaned a dog room . Shelf in the bathroom over the sink my husband hit his face while washing his face it’s too close. No lift parking good so is location. Food ok

The room was accommodating for our purposes, comfortable and clean. Only quirk was the lighting for the washroom. Our room, No.307, had an ante-room between the sleeping area and the washroom that illuminated when the washroom light was turned on. That room could do with separate lighting so that lights do not disturb the person sleeping.

Cosy & welcoming in a great location.

Cosy and welcoming hotel. In a fabulous location near the harbour. The staff were friendly and helpful and the bistro was well run with good food. Our room was on the top floor with no lift which wasn’t an issue for us but could be for some. The room was lovely with a spacious bathroom. The mattress was a little soft for me but that’s just personal taste. Would definitely stay again.

Great stay at the Caledonia hotel. It was a goid visit during our NC500 trip. Staff were all polite and ao helpful. Food for evening meal and breakfast was very good and thoroughly enjoyed. Would defintmitwly recommend this as a palce to stay in Ullapool, very convenient.

Hotel was excellent, clean, looks like quite recently done up. Staff all very friendly and helpful. No lifts, but staff offered to carry luggage to room. Food in restaurant was delicious and very reasonable. It was actually cheaper eating in Hotel than other places round about. Still high season at end of September. Was a bit dissapointed in breakfast cereal choice, as all i could find was cereal boxes. Last morning after breakfast, I found granola in a high up, top wooden bowl, with dried fruit, next to fruit juices! I'm too short to see into the top bowl! Good choice cooked breakfast.

We appreciated having a safe, clean room in a convenient location and a nice view of the marina. That being said, the towel warmer in the bathroom didn’t work and it had poor ventilation, so there was evidence of mold on the ceiling. There was also very poor sound proofing (everything was audible) and the floors were somehow not flat at all in that there were noticeable dips. All in all, it was an alright, safe place to stay for a night.

Though our stay was short due to other delays in our journey the staff were great and friendly. Check in was a breeze and by the sounds of it we missed a fantastic karaoke night. Wish we could have stayed longer.
