Villa Giorgisa Casale pool sea view, Ugento, Italy

Set in extensive, beautiful grounds, this charming villa has been ingeniously designed to sleep up to 24 people, in 4 separate apartments. It is the ideal vacation rental for friends or families who want to holiday together but have some privacy and independence. Just 10 minutes from the beach, with panoramic sea views, it is the perfect base for relaxation and adventure in this beautiful part of Salento.

The four apartments, each with an independent entrance, are arranged with 2 on the ground floor and 2 on the first floor. However, since the house is built on a slope, the top-floor apartments can be accessed directly from the gardens. All the apartments have an open-plan living/dining room and a kitchen. The living space is furnished with a sofa, flat-screen TV and dining table with 6 chairs. The kitchens are all equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and coffee machine. Each of the apartments also has a private, partly shaded, terrace with tables and chairs for meals al fresco, as well as sun loungers. The upstairs terraces have fabulous sea views and can be joined, simply by opening the gate dividing them.

The villa’s owners have taken as much care with the outside space as they have with the interiors. The L-shaped swimming pool suits all ages, as it includes a very shallow section for young children, as well as a deep end with a diving board for more experienced swimmers. On the surrounding terrace, guests can relax on sun loungers and chairs, partly shaded by a gazebo which can be adjusted according to the sun. The well-tended gardens are looked after by caretakers who live in the grounds. They can offer advice and assistance at any time.

Sleeping
There are 8 bedrooms in total. 6 bedrooms have a double bed and two bedrooms have 2 bunk beds in each, accommodating 8 people in total. In addition, two of the sofas in the living rooms convert into comfortable double beds.

Bathrooms
Each apartment has a newly fitted bathroom appointed with a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Location
The villa is a short drive from the stunning beaches between Torre San Giovanni and Torre Monza. This stretch of coast on the Ionian Sea is known for its crystal clear sea, pale sand and gentle, sloping shores which are ideal for less experienced swimmers or families with young children.

The town of Ugento (10 minutes) has a rich cultural heritage with some fine medieval and Baroque architecture. The Castello di Ugento, built in the Middle Ages, is worth a visit, as it houses a museum showcasing local history and art. Visitors can explore the charming historic town centre and enjoy one of the many excellent restaurants. Its weekly market (Saturday mornings) is the best place to find the freshest local ingredients to cook at home. For day-to-day shopping, there are several supermarkets in the town too.

The port of Gallipoli (the Beautiful City), which was founded by Greek settlers thousands of years ago, is just 25 minutes away. Here you will find fascinating historical sites, ancient city walls and some of the best fish in Salento. It is the ideal day out.

The closest airport is Salento Airport, Brindisi, 1 hour and 20 minutes away by car. Please note that the pool is open from the 30th of April 2025 to the 15th of November 2025
