Half Moon met our needs perfectly. The accommodation was clean. The hot tub is secluded and surrounded by trees and nature. Communication with our host was infomative and attentive. We would happily return to Half Moon Cottage.

It was so cute and exactly what we were looking for! The lights aside from the kitchen were all a little dim, which helped for the cabin aesthetic, but made it would have been nice to have some brighter light options in the bathroom and loft bedroom. Overall, super comfortable, quiet, and private. Just amazing! The host was incredible too!

Peaceful and relaxing stay

We absolutely loved staying in the Halfmoon Cottage. I was a bit concerned it might be too close to the main road but it was set far enough back on the property for peace and quiet and privacy. The cabin was very comfortable and cozy and loved the hot tub right outside our door. Booking with Tofino Vacation Rentals was fantastic. They were so helpful and organized to ensure our stay was great. The cabin was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our dinners. We are planning to make this an annual get away. Maybe even twice a year.

I always hesitate to book on non hotel websites but this was one of best stays I can remember. It was so easy to check in and the property was amazing. The kitchen was actually well equipped for cooking and the hot tub was so enjoyable. There was construction at the cottage next door but I didn't hear anything at all - in fact I heard no sounds besides nature. I would highly recommend this cottage, I cannot wait to rebook it in the future, and I've already told everyone I know how amazing it was!

The cabin was so cozy, it was exactly what we were looking for. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the cabin was well stocked. We loved how private the cabin was. We’re already planning next year’s trip.

Cabin in the woods

We had a lovely few day stay in the halfmoon cottage in Florencia Bay cottages. The cabin was private and cozy with a full kitchen and a hot tub making our stay very enjoyable, the two of us and our dog Jake were able to relax and make ourselves at home. The TofinoVR staff had great communication from the moment we booked until we were on our way back home. We will stay here again.

Lovely Private Oasis

We had an amazing stay at this cabin tucked into the beautiful Ucluelet rainforest. The cabin itself is stunning and was exactly what we wanted for our getaway. The location is great - a short walk to the trailhead that leads to Florencia and Halfmoon Bays, 10min drive to Ucluelet, half an hour to Tofino. We will definitely be coming to stay again!

Dog friendly

It was a wonderful way to spend our 50th anniversary. We cooked all our own meals, cozied up by the fireplace, enjoyed the hot tub, while our two dogs were content to lay on the deck. A very sweet little cabin that was perfect for us.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

Everything was exactly as described. A perfect spot for relaxation and access to all that Ucluelet and Tofino have to offer. Loved the little touches such as Rhino coffee and Saltspring Soapworks products.
