Another dose of paradise

This was our second year spending part of spring break in Ucluelet at Half Moon Bay cottage. We absolutely love this area, the cabin included. This cabin is perfect for a couple or a family with one or two small children. If/when we return to the area, we will likely upgrade to a larger space with two bedrooms— hopefully with the same rental/property management group. The folks at Tofino Vacation Rentals are super responsive and kind. Great hosts!

Dog friendly

It was a wonderful way to spend our 50th anniversary. We cooked all our own meals, cozied up by the fireplace, enjoyed the hot tub, while our two dogs were content to lay on the deck. A very sweet little cabin that was perfect for us.

Perfect secluded cabin

We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our honeymoon. The Half Moon cottage was so cute and cozy, and was the perfect place to come back to after days filled with adventure. The cabins are set far enough apart, that you don’t have to see or hear anyone if you don’t want to. The hosts were always quick to respond and gave excellent recommendations. We absolutely loved our stay, and would definitely book again!

Lovely Private Oasis

We had an amazing stay at this cabin tucked into the beautiful Ucluelet rainforest. The cabin itself is stunning and was exactly what we wanted for our getaway. The location is great - a short walk to the trailhead that leads to Florencia and Halfmoon Bays, 10min drive to Ucluelet, half an hour to Tofino. We will definitely be coming to stay again!

In love with Ucluelet

We’re sold. We’re sold on the peace and quiet that Ucluelet and the surrounding forests and beaches offer. We’re also sold on this cabin…views of nothing but forest, sounds that were all nature. We don’t have one complaint about our stay and will absolutely be back again. The cabin as it is is wonderful and then you add the little details: Salt spring soap products, a beer waiting for us. And, communication with the property management was seamless from start to finish. Wow, just wow.

Lovely Escape

Beautiful log cabin in a private and quiet location. Well-equipped kitchen and barbeque to be able to cook and bake "at home". Roomy yet cozy. Large TV with multiple streaming services. Huge bathtub indoors and jetted hot tub outdoors!

Perfect hideaway

Was perfect for what I wanted out of the vacay- a quiet place to contemplate, relax, enjoy nature and have a hot tub. It’s only 5min away from Ucluelet and about 30 to Tofino and both drives are easy and scenic. The cabin itself is exactly like it’s pictured. Only issue was that it had tons of spider webs when I got there and some dust, so looked like parts of the cabin hadn’t been touched/cleaned in awhile. It’s around the corner from a couple really nice trails to beaches/coves that were good for the dog and I to walk to (however, if you have an old dog like mine who can’t do stairs, be prepared, you’ll need to carry them then!). Overall would 100% stay again and hope to be back in the future with my partner. This time it was the dog and I and it was the perfect spot to sit, unwind, unplug and enjoy all that the area and nature has to offer.

The cabin was so cozy, it was exactly what we were looking for. The bed and linens were very comfortable and the cabin was well stocked. We loved how private the cabin was. We’re already planning next year’s trip.

Cozy Cottage in the Forrest

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Halfmoon Cottage. It was so peaceful there and the surrounding forrest was so tranquil. The hot tub was splendid as well. We enjoyed walking the Willowbrae trail down to the beach in the mornings. We also went to the Shelter in Tofino for dinner on one of the nights we were here (as recommended in the house guidebook). The food was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be coming back soon.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

Everything was exactly as described. A perfect spot for relaxation and access to all that Ucluelet and Tofino have to offer. Loved the little touches such as Rhino coffee and Saltspring Soapworks products.

Rainy Retreat change of scenery-Super Chill

Convenient location to UKEE. Great hiking right out your door to the beach. 20 mins. Hope you like stairs. hot tub was nice. 4:00 check in was a little late but we made it work. Cabin was so nice, great soaker tub too.

First VRBO Experience - PERFECT

Beautiful location. We were looking for a romantic getaway close to the ocean and this cabin offers exactly that. The cottage was gorgeous inside and out with a private (and quiet!) outdoor hot tub, surrounded by forest and underneath a pocket of stars. Only 2-3 minutes from town centre and 20 from Tofino, it was the perfect home-base away from home. This will be our go to rental for next winters relax and reconnect!

Cabin in the woods

Lovely property in the woods. Hot tub lid is not easy to move, hot tub also listing so is walkway to hot tub. Cabin needs to be cleaned of cob webs. This is a log cabin but some more time needs to be spent on cob webs. Oven would not light either. Pilot came on. Oven is old and Replacement should be considered. Place was super cute and cosy but for the price I think these items should be addressed.
