If what you are seeking in Bali is relaxation, beauty and culture, leave congested Denpasar behind and head to Serendipity Villa & Cafe in Ubud. Be met by Serendipity's friendly transport driver at the airport and enjoy a sedate, safe one to one and a half hour journey through interesting sights and tropical greenery. Ajik and his staff will greet you on arrival and make you feel welcome. Lotus Villa has a outdoor shower as well as two others inside, enhanced with feature river stones on walls and floor for a more natural theme. Large marble baths are also in each guest room and can comfortably accommodate 2 persons. Soak and look at the stars of an evening through the glass ceiling above. Huge covered pavilion for social occasions, outdoor settings to recline on or to just gaze at your private lap pool, surrounded by frangipani trees, elk-horns, water lilies, elephant ears. Be lulled to sleep by the cicadas, frogs and the lapping of the water feature. A nature lovers paradise!!

We have booked the 2 rooms villa, which was very spacious. The place is newly renovated and clean, which overlook a field and come with a small pool. The evening view was excellent (see pictures) too. The portable wifi provided was of acceptable speed and the bed was quite comfortable. There was also a butler provided to us. For the price, it was absolutely value for money. Minor drawback will be the location is about 15 mins from ubud center. So may not be easy to get transport at night. But if you intend to have a quiet time with your friends, this is an excellent place. Breakfast was simple, I have tried all and recommend you to get the french toast.
