I Stayed in Ubud Heaven Penestanan, in the one bedroom villa with private pool, for 4 days on my honeymoon. Everything about our stay was amazing! Starting from 4 months prior my visit, they were highly responsive to answer all my questions via email. We arrived at 2:00 AM, however everything was prepared and the villa was ready. And the Villa was exactly like it showed in the pictures and even nicer!! The staff were always very helpful and friendly. It was an amazing stay, and I'm looking forward to re-visit again in the future.

We are a family of 3 who like to spend our time with ourselves on vacation because of our busy life that is what we lack most. This was one of the best places to stay if you wish so. We took a 1 bedroom private villa and it was as private as it can be. The room was great, with outdoor kitchen and a clean swimming pool. Though there are some areas of improvements, I will come to that later. Pros: Hotel Grounds: The property is located off the main road, and is inaccessible by cars. You may call the hotel from the main road car park and they will send buggy to pick you and any luggage you might have. Once there you can rent a scooter from the hotel for Rp. 80.000 per day (comes with helmets). The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of the main town center, yet with good restaurants tucked away near it. Walking takes about 25 mins to Ubud town along the stairs further down the road from the hotel. Room: Each 1 bedroom villa came with an outdoor kitchen/dining, gazebo and a pool. The fridge had necessary drinks and coffee and tea bags were provided. Cooking is allowed if you are inclined to do so. The main room had a large bed with drapes and the ceiling is very beautiful with carved wood. The extra bed that e paid for was kept on the floor, but not an issue with us. Room is cleaned everyday. If you need not have it cleaned, please mention it to staff when you go for breakfast. You will need a flashlight at night to go to your room. It is very natural setting with the calming noise of frogs and geckos at night away from the honking and traffic noises. Staff and Service: The staff were really good and always helpful. Listen to their suggestions and it all worked out for us wonderful! They are always smiling and with great service attitude. Almost everyone speaks and understands English. Food: We had breakfast included in the menu. It was great breakfast. Omelets and the mash were particularly good. They have good selection of Indian vegetarian food as well, not overly spicy. Cons: 1. We couldn't see any rice paddies in or near the hotel as advertised. Elsewhere in Ubud these could be seen. 2. Bathrooms needs to be a bit more clean. Water pressure was not satisfactory as well. 3. Towels were grey from use. Pease change them.

We love our own space and prefer smaller hotels, private villas etc. We booked a private pool villa and on arrival were pleasantly suprised. An air conditioned glass walled bedroom villa with an open, covered, kitchen, dining area and huge pool set in a lovely heliconia surrounded garden. The staff were great, quiet location but not far from the action, good dining options close by and great ones if you are willing to go a little further. We would happily stay here again.

Our family booked the 2 bedroom villa based on the pictures. There were no rice patties or even any rice growing near the villa. Instead, there was a dirt square of land that obviously wasnt growing anything. The villas are packed quite closely so if you expect a villa in the peace and quiet you will be disappointed. While there the power to our villa tripped 3 times and we had to walk out in the dark to turn the electricity back on. There were no pillows on the lounges or in the gazebo. The one place to sit (the wooden lounge) has a filthy cushion on it, which hadnt been cleaned in awhile. Our stay here was very disappointing. We wont be coming back.

Super friendly and attentive staff, rooms are clean, the AC could have been better as during the afternoons it gets really hot. The private pool with the villa was very clean and bigger than most of the hotels’ main pool. Location is good as it is 10mins walk from ubud central.

We had been here for our honeymoon and we had booked a Villa for our stay. It was a serene place with a private pool. The pool was very clean just like the rest of the resort. The staff are extremely courteous and genuine. They even helped us with our local sight seeing options. The food is amazing. The "Nasi & Mie Goreng" is a must try :) Will definitely visit this place the next time we plan Bali

We absolutely loved this place! Great position even though it was a bit difficult to find it at first. Really big clean villa, great pool with outdoor lounge and two nice rooms with private bathroom each. We really enjoyed our stay there, clean towels and housekeeping everyday, service was absolutely excellent. The only downside was wifi which kept disconnecting so every time you need it you have to put the login and password again. Also, I would suggest to facilitate the kitchen a bit better. One tiny little pan and pot for 4 people wasn’t enough when we wanted to make our breakfast.

It was situated in a quiet part of Ubud unfortunately, the villa which we stayed in didn't have good exposure to the sun so the swimming pool was freezing cold and the room was of course all moldy. I had a terrible reaction to the bed bug or dust mite on their bed. Towels looked so used and damped. Curtain should have been replaced to the new one if you wish to call this place heaven. Kitchen sink was dirty. The manager was rather rude. Please do not disturb our breakfast by asking about our room cleaning. it could have simply discussed it after our breakfast. We just had breakfast at this hotel but the food tasted horrible. Waffle menu, they would just put 2 slices when most of the hotels would give 4 slices. Luckely good restaurants were nearby.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud which is now more liek NY city than the peaceful village I first encountered 10 years ago, this lovely resort is in a perfect location. Walking distance to yoga studios, fabulous restaurants, all surrounded by green rice fields, and a couple of shops close by for snacks, water, etc. The room was very romantic, a four poster bed, long drapes, a lovely bathroom and our own private pool where we could relax au naturelle. We never ate at the place, seemingly the complaint of most people, but as we had our own outdoor kitchenette why would we need to? And, Ubud has an array of delicious restaurants - just 10 mins away on a scooter or Grab taxi. As a regular visitor to Bali I'll def be returning, it's one of the most peaceful places I've found and lives up to its name for sure.

This a great place if you want some peace and quiet yet situated quite close to the Ubud market area. Each villa has a private pool which is well maintained. The idea is to give you the feel of a Balinese villa, so don't expect anything swanky. The rooms have a plain wood decor with canopy bed. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The outdoor kitchen is really helpful. The staff are very courteous and go out of their way to help. Only three issues 1. you may tend to hear voices if someone is in the pool in the villa adjoining yours. 2. There are two entrances to the hotel and taxis cannot enter either. On one side, you need to call the reception for a buggy and on the other side which is close to the market area, there's a steep staircase more than 50 stairs which I wouldn't recommend if you have knee or back issues. 3. In case you need to travel from Ubud to denaspar city it's better if you have your own driver or private taxi as the local taxis charge about IDR 400,000 above and only blue Bird taxis are allowed to enter that area.
